Yeah, I would like a press pass next time pretty please. I had to wait over 30 minutes before security waved me through. I was constantly looking over my shoulder and some of the "officials" were giving me filthy looks as if they was about to get shirty! I didnt start taking photos till after 5pm but I did hand out 250 DSI cards, and was using my rubber stamp when I ran out!!!

I upload 300 x 450, but I think I need to change this since the "supersize" option came in because it increases the size doesnt it?

just clicked save as - it is 600 x 400, but since my pictures only get used by peeps hacking to facebook I dont know if it is worth increasing it to match - half my hard drive is photos, including the originals!

know what ya mean but 300 max length does look a bit crap and you should show your pics off more.

i only just started limiting the size. i do 1000 max now.

Thanks, noted - where I usually take photos (locally) they dont get appreciated but I suppose I should have compressed to 600 x 400 for this event.

With so many pro-spotters with better equipment I was a bit intimidated and wasnt creative either (and the fear of having the camera confiscated didnt help!!!)

dnt feel intimidated and if there is anything you want to know ask :) what camera have you got again?
when i got my camera the first few nights all i was doing was asking questions, it isnt bad if u dnt know its bad if u dnt want to find out ;)
some things i guess u got to work out urself but next time just ask :) like when i took a picture of you remember you said 'nooo im facing the sun its not good' and i told you its brilliant cuz then i dnt have to use the flashgun but just use the sun :)
and if you ask dr suave he'll be able to explain it to you all in a geeky and proper way cuz i unfortunatelly cant :/

actually where were you ? did you stay in dsi tent for the rest of the evening?

At half 6 we left the DSI tent and went to the main stage like everyone else did. That was the whole point of the day afterall.
