Well, what can I say??? What a brilliant night!!!!!! Rain was a perfect host to the UK Housonic Tour lauch night, due to its impressive size and sheer class that is evident throughout.

The night was pretty much full from the beginning, and was good to see that no one was shy of the dance floor. Being played through the decks was the latest in funky, vocal and dirty house music, courtsey of the Rain resdidents Oliver Willson & Jono Allen, and special guest Hugh Gunnell of Housonic.

In addition, it was the opening of the SKYBAR, which is an outside garden with up to 200 capacity. What with huge canopy's, plenty of outdoor heaters and the chic decor, again this was another success. Patrick Rollins complimented the evening by playing a variety of soulful house and funk, whilst being at one with nature!!!!!

If you missed this night, then you must have had a good excuse, but you wont want to miss the next Housonic Tour event which is being held on the 12th May. Keep your eyes peeled for the special DJ line up!!!

Last but not least, we have the famous Miss Moneypennys Tour at Rain Nightclub on the 28th April. THIS IS NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!!!!!

Agreed top night ! Love the club and the outside terrace, reminded me of Ibiza !

nice one wicked night, it was my birthday and the outside was amazing, let's just hope there are no complaints from neighbours as it was realy loud, but best place to be in loughborough by far, roll on the tunes and the summer!!!!

yere i was thinking that about the outside music license and that some venues end up loosing there right to play music outside but we took a d-tour in finding rain (cos never been before) and the majourity of buildings are mostly factorys so hopefully should be no problems.

I had the best time at Rain on Sunday def one of the best nights in town by far. Dj's rocked the place and it was a wicked atmosphere! Any ideas where we can see the pictures guys? I cant get that song out my head either since sunday "I just wanna call u my bitch" haha wicked tune!

Again thanks for your comments. We are all pleased that everyone that we have talked to, have said what a great night it was. This is only the beggining of what is going to happen. All of the staff are very ambitious and as far as we are concerned, there are no limits!!!! We have some amazing DJ line ups, which I cant disclose at the moment, but they are going to have people queuing outside as far back as Mc Donalds!!!!!

As I'm sure that you are aware, we have Miss Moneypennys on the 28th April. This will be amazing and the club will look great!!!! If you want you and any of your mate's on the guest list, then all i need is there full name and there email address ( it is a paying guest list though ) But hey, it will save you waiting outside.

............ you know what the best thing about Rain is!!!!........... its coz its far better than Discoteca, and the same night it was 'Casa Nostra' with Scott Lorrimer, never heard of him ! I think this event was pretty much a wash out, unlike Rain............. I hope one day Roger Sanchez will be invited to play, as he is the best DJ in the world! my fave anyway. Yeah watch out for the sky garden as my mate could hear the music from her house down near toothill road! X

PS one more thing, can Rain website be updated with future events Ollie, have a word if can can, coz its still got the previous hed kandi info up and i know that Rain aren't hosting Hed Kandi anymore, it would be nice to see future events on there and would attract more peeps! Holly

We are starting a night there on fridays called JUNK!! Which is going to be on the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month. Again that will be the latest in funky house, and it means that every week, you will have a house night at Rain!!!

Of course!!! I think it will be pretty much like last time. I do the warm up 9:30 - 11, then Neil from Moneypennys 11 - 1, then me n jono playing back to back until the end. It worked really well last time.
