Well, with the guest line up that was billed to appear at the final D*TACHED of 2008, we knew that this was always going to be an awesome night! And a full dance floor at 11pm shows just how much you loved it!

Residents Ian Carman & Nez set the pace with their blend of dirty and electro house that seemed to go down very well considering it was so early in the night! Hats off to Ian Carman for keeping it pumping even though he was full of flu - Its amazng what Sambuca can do!

Danny Burch's b2b set with Nelpin was absolutely brilliant and even though he had to appear at Pams House in Colchester at 2am he was still happy to come and play for D*TACHED, the only place in the world where Danny will play Dirty, Electro House music and that is an honour for all at D*TACHED! Their enthusiasm and great tune selection had the place rammed, with people from downstairs in the Edge Bar coming up to see what all the noise was about! The dance floor was rammed and by the change over the crowd were calling for "One more song!" and it was only midnight by then!

Mr Magoo was up next and not only could this chap mix, but he was a real party animal too! I think there wasn't a single person he didn't chat to over the course of the night and was an instant hit with the dancers! Coming from varied background of DnB, Garage, Hardhouse and House he really knew his stuff and that again showed in his tune selection with some wicked remixes filthy favorites!

Finally The RhthymPunks took to the decks and so far through the night had 2 tough acts to follow, but these boys were up for it and just as good with some great filthy tunes that seemed to keep coming as quickly as people joined the dance floor! Jonezy & Rob (RhythmPunks) not only served up a great big set of dirt but were so popular they continued to play on after 2am following the demands until the system was finaly switched off by tired staff wanting to get a kebab and go home! A real great pair of blokes and the D*TACHED boys can't wait to hook with them again at Overdose @ Poo Na Na in Norwich this December!

All that is left to say is thnk you for a wonderful year. We've been up against it with the towns main river crossing being closed over a few of the nights but the hardcore have been there to support us no matter what - YOU ALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE! - Thank you and see you next year for some more filthy action with new names in 2008!
