Next from the Up:Start camp is the debut of up & coming producers Crackerz and Jam, with 2 awesome old skool inspired cuts & a slew of quality remixes covering a shed load of genres. This package has already picked up glowing reviews from both Mixmag & DJMag's breaks sections, nearly making it to 'Money Shot' for DJMag!
First up is lead track ‘Big Up Girl’ which is 21st century breaks with phat low slung bass & skippy beats. It’s a great debut track & shows these 2 guys have got great talent in the studio as well as being great Djs. On remix duty is Up:Start’s head honcho & breakspoll nominated D-Funk who’s mix heads deeper in break beat territory adding plenty of wonky bass. The Rogue Robots also pick up the remix baton & turn in a old skool inspired 4/4 electro house mix that would sit happily in both a underground electro set as it would on a Radio One daytime play list.

Secondly is ‘This One’ which is more of the same from Crackerz and Jam with old skool stabs & a solid break beat pushing it forward. Heading up the remixes on ‘This One’ is Ottone from Italy who mix heads into 4/4 tech house with a great break down half way through. Last, but by no means least, is Stormski who’s jungle techno mix harks back to days gone by & the origins in break beat as we know it…

Up:Start Music 004 is released on 21st August.
