With a rich history in creativity, originality and artistic ability, a capacity for over 2000 people and a 24 hour entertainment and alcohol licence, it's no surprise that Studio 5 at Maidstone TV Studios has become the hottest new music venue to emerge in England in 2008.
Located just one mile from Maidstone town centre and fully air-conned and sound proofed, Studio 5 is the largest single TV studio in the country with an epic floor space of 12000 square feet. Since its construction in 2001, Studio 5 has hosted such popular game shows as ‘Dale’s Supermarket Sweep’, ‘100 to 1’ and ‘Duel’.
On Saturday 10th May Studio 5 will be transformed into a music venue by ClubClass to host the official aftershow to Radio 1's Big Weekend. This marks a new chapter in the studios history and one that will no doubt by remembered for many years to come…
