The dust has barely settled at the Tunnel after Flings massive NYE party which quite simply rocked from start to finish. With no time to loose Fling have been busy confirming the details for our next massive party, and now we can finally reveal this will be our last ever party @ The Loft nightclub in Maidstone. After 4 fantastic parties which have seen us bring the likes of Lee Burridge, Annie Mac, King Unique, Le Noir, TG all over to Maidstone to smash the hell out of the once famous Loft dancefloor, we have decided the time is right to leave the venue on a high, and concentrate on our parties @ The Tunnel. As this is our final party, we thought it would only be fitting to bring another large guest to Maidstone and ensure that this will be one of the best parties the Loft will see in 2008. We are extremely proud to welcome someone who has been a massive inspiration to all at Fling, and someone we are quiet confident in saying is possibly one of the most forward thinking DJ and Producer of underground techno on the planet right now… Irish legend Phil Kieran!

Phil Kieran will be a familiar to anyone who has been buying records over the past 3 years, or anyone that goes clubbing in the likes of Fabric, or The End on London. The name is synonymous with some of the most upfront and most forward thinking techno on the planet. Having released tracks on the biggest techno labels on the planet such as Cocoon, Soma, Novamute and received plaudits from the likes of Sven Vath, James Zabiela, Pete Tong, Ritchie Hawtin, Nic Fanciulli & many more its not hard to see why he is pretty much one of the most in demand djs on the planet right now. His releases such as ‘Iam A Monster’ & ‘Pinhole Of Light’ have been 2 of the biggest tracks on the underground house and techno scenes in 2007, whilst constant tours of Australia, Asia, Europe and both South and North America have seen his name grow and grow to where it is today. If that wasn’t enough then Phil is also the man behind the massive ‘Alloy Metal’ band which has been mixing techno and electro with rocky influences with massive success from mainstream including an album with Sklnt Records, and daytime radio1 plays from the likes of Annie Mac, Jo Whiley and many more! With Phils gig diary already fully booked til June 08, we are proud and very lucky to welcome Phil down to play for us, and make no mistake he will smash the roof off the loft on March 1st, its going to go off big time!

Joining Phil in the main room will be Fling residents Luke Dzierzek and Nick Liousias. Luke will be celebrating the release of his new single ‘Unleash’ & ‘The Beast’ on his Fling recordings label due out in March under his new guise DZ. The release will be his first single release since his massive track from 2005 Echo was snapped up by Ministry Of Sound following its use on Citroens 2007 robotic car advert which is still being aired as we speak and which helped catapult his name into the upper stratospheres of the dance community.
Mixes coming from Get Physicals Oliver Koletzki, Tiger Stripes and Flings own Miniminds have created there own interpretation of this classic track. His DZ material is probably his sickest to date so expect to hear him dropping unreleased bombs all night long as a preview to what’s in store from him in 2008, and show just why he is one of the hottest talents in dance music today. Both Luke & Nick have also been busy on the label side of things getting major recognition from all corners of the dance music scene with their label Fling Recordings which has been releasing some of the most unique music out here ate the moment. Expect the pair to rock the club to the core as only they know how to and make this one of the best parties of 2008!

Downstairs will once again be in the hands of The Deepsouth Crew of Nick Carter & Graeme Doyle, who will be serving up the very best in deep and tech house. Anyone who caught their set on the main stage at Flings NYE party will know that these guys will deliver the goods. Joining Nick and Graeme will be none other than The Quirk Burglars who will be showcasing their trademark groovy deep house sound to get those feet tapping and arses shaking!

So there we have it, spread the word, this is Flings last ever party @ The Loft. If you have experienced Fling before then you will know that this is a must attend event for anyone into decent underground dance music, and also one hell of a party. For those who haven’t experienced that Flings party madness then this is your final chance to see Fling grace the Loft, so get your arses down here and have it large!
