The first time the magnificent Hed Kandi have held a New Years Eve party in Kent and the south-east debut of Ibiza’s world-famous Café Mambo!! Expect a party full of style, glamour and funky, sexy house music as this legendary duo welcome in the New Year. In the Hed Kandi room headliner Jim Breese brings his soulful and funky house sound that has won him many a fan the world over. He is supported by the brilliant Dan Rolfe, a DJ veteran who over the years has played at Turnmills in London, The Beach Club in Brighton and Es Paradis in Ibiza and alongside some of his personal heroes including Frankie Knuckles, CJ Mackintosh and David Guetta. The Groove Monkey boys Jonni Jones and Mowgli are also on deck duty so expect the grooviest house music from this awesome duo! Since forming over a year ago the popularity of Groove Monkey has gone through the roof resulting in bookings for these guys at The Coliseum, Studio 33 and Turnmills. This will be their first every NYE at River so expect them to pull out all the stops to make this one to remember!! Completing the room’s lineup is Ross Butcher; famous for his soulful sounds and no stranger to Hed Kandi having secured a residency for their parties at River in 2006. Downstairs River is delighted to present Ibiza’s much celebrated Café Mambo who will be celebrating the sun setting on 2005. Blending beautiful people with amazing music, this room will be completely transformed as we relive those stunning summer nights spent on San Antonio’s sunset strip. DJs John Barber, Graeme Doyle, Nick Carter and Nick Simmons will be in action as they deliver the very best in Deep US and Balearic House. Finally in our fully canopied terrace with extra toilets and bar area you will be entertained by the live acoustics of Phil Belzar. So with the temperatures reaching an all time low and the sun going to bed before Neighbours has even started, River provides you with an incredible night to look forward to as we welcome in the New Year.
