On the biggest night of the year River welcomes the mighty Groove Monkey and Babyshake to host the upstairs and downstairs rooms with a hand picked lineup incorporating DJs from many of River’s premier nights! This is the only place to be in Maidstone on NYE so make sure you're part of this very special event!

As always with New Years Eve at River expect to see THREE completely transformed rooms with extra décor, lighting and sound. Upstairs the Groove Monkeys will be in full force as the bar is turned into a jungle (set with bushtucker trials no doubt) and an all star lineup consisting of funky and soulful house DJs from Groove Monkey, FNUK, For Funk’s Sake and Immaculate Touch. This includes Jonni Jones and Mowgli, who will be playing the midnight slot, and Millska who is returning from India to play especially at River!!

Downstairs the breakbeat kings Babyshake will take the futuristic vibes of cult classic ‘Blade Runner’ as inspiration for the theme of their room as they make their New Years Eve debut. Of course the mighty Shake DJs will be in the house to play the midnight set with support courtesy of Breakpoint’s Mark Fanciulli, Rebel Beat Faction’s Rebel Beat Allies, Small Fry, Function’s John Varney and Nice & Dirty’s Ashley Mckenna. And if that wasn’t enough the fully furnished and heated chill-out marquees return for those who need the perfect alternative to the mayhem of the two dancefloors.
