Hi everyone, I’ve got some good news, some bad news & some more good news… The first good news is on Friday 25th September ‘The creators of hardcore til I die’ & ‘Totally Lost It’ come together to present ‘Raver Baby Experience’ at Jabez Clegg, Manchester… This event promises to be the best ever held at Jabez Clegg & also the best Hardcore event held in Manchester in 2009…

The bad news is this event will be ‘THE LAST EVER DANCE EVENT & TLI AT JABEZ CLEGG’ – due to the club owner having a better offer from a well established ‘Student night’ that has recently lost it’s ‘Owens park venue’ & as I was the only successful monthly Promoter at Jabez Clegg for the last 3 years & with the recession this year, this was an offer they could not refuse & they have had no choice but to sadly let me go which is something I know the staff & security truly did not want to happen as we have had some great times & all feel part of a family…..

What I think & what next

When I first heard the news a couple of days ago, like you lot (my regulars & friends) will be now, I was abit shocked & gutted, I was not surprised though & always expected it, as this is what happens in the world of Promoting/Clubbing, this being the 3rd time it has happened to me with TLI … However, although I love Jabez Clegg & would have stayed there forever, I must admit I have never really liked room 2 & have not been able to do anything with it, the club does not have a chillout area & I have been feeling like I needed to do something different with the whole club but couldn’t do, I also have plans to bring ‘hardcore til I die experience’ & ‘Uproar Experience’ to Manchester in 2010… So, I think a change of venue can only be a good thing (especially if we have a better Gabber room & a chillout area) & after almost 3 years it’s time to move on to somewhere with more space… We (promoter,dj’s,mc’s & TLI ravers) can take what we have to any suitable venue in Manchester & it will always be the same vibe, set up but with new surroundings so I’m looking forward to & am very positive about this move, my new challenge & think this is just what TLI needs at this time, something new!

Having now spoke to a few people & having viewed a few clubs over the last 2 days, I am pleased to say that I am now excited about taking TLI to a new venue but I will not answer anybody's questions or speak about what is going to happen after 25th September untill I am ready to do so & I will keep everyone updated with my future plans in my own time.

You now have one last chance to dance at Jabez & say goodbye on Friday 25th Sept so make sure you are there.


25/09/09 – ‘Raver baby experience @ Totally Lost It’

2 weeks to go. As this event is going to be even more special now , the club has now let us start at 9pm until 4am… So far Vortex & Jake Nicholls (Uprising resident) have been added to the original Gabber room line up! So what I want you all to do now is spread the word & let’s make this event one we will never forget…I hope you can make it…

Oh & I hope you like my speech, I did it at work yesterday, see you at Jabez Clegg in 2 weeks if you are going… Oh & 1 more thing, you can all be sure that if there is a need for Hardcore & Gabber in Manchester – There WILL be TLI.

cant believe it. it was my first 1 last month and now this happens. oh well, only good can come from this, like htid and uproar nights plus its probably gonna b buzzin even more now that its a farewell do.
