The end of January in Manchester is set have the city quaking to its foundations with a one-off gig helmed by one of the hottest properties on the hard dance scene right now – Alex Kidd! 2007 was by his own very high standards an incredible year, one crowned by the impromptu Tidy Weekender set from a chalet that had 100s of people going bananas! Such was the mayhem that Kiddstock and Kiddfields soon followed later in the summer, both coming close to inciting near riots such was the feverish atmosphere! And along with guesting at all the major festivals, guest mixing on Eddie Halliwell’s Radio 1 show and playing out before Yoji at Dance Valley, Alex is ready to launch Kiddfectious, his new brand and label which is going to take 2008 by storm and it all detonates on Friday 25th @ K2 in Manchester! North West legends Goodgreef are working with Alex on this party making it one that cannot be missed as it will kick-start the year into action!

Alex says, “It will showcase some of the finest artists and leaders in the styles that I play alongside the freshest and most advanced raw blood that’s doing the damage right now. There will of course be a lot of my own projects and productions on the label, new collaborations, bootlegs, remixes and solo EP's so it's a really exciting time in AKHQ at the moment.”

In support of Alex is Dutch hard dance supremo Luna making his long overdue Manchester debut, reflecting Alex’s determination to work with the best possible people in his scene, along with the sultry, sexy and hard house Queen Lisa PinUp also coming out to play. The North West’s Kutski has also got another huge year ahead of him and is the perfect complement to support Alex! Each is a dance floor devastator who will have the K2 masses going crazy! Support in the Main Room comes from Goodgreef Xtra Hard resident & Hard Dance Awards best new comer contender Morgan and Liverpools very own legend Neal Thomas!

Room Two sees a brace of hand-picked talent assembled by Alex who represent the future of the hard dance scene! Not content with providing one room of blistering music the Future Floor Fillers are the guys who will be making some serious noise as their careers continue to grow. Damage and Narkotique, Danny Killa, Steely, Matt Hadder, John Saxon, Kidd Kaos b2b MR E and Sunny Feenix will all be ready to rock the Kiddfectious launch party!
