It’s another visit to Sankeys and a perfect unison between one of Manchester’s best clubs and the rollicking rave revolution led by Goodgreef. Each GG visit to Ancoats has surpassed the last, and whilst the Xmas party was one of the best parties of 2007 for all involved, the Easter Cracker might just beat it, heralding the start of a very long, and very, very messy weekend, featuring three rooms of classic GG action – some Xtra Hard madness in The Basement, in the Boutique celebrating the launch of the Goodgreef Digital Album, ‘Future Trance’, which is only available on download, and some dirty electro and house in The Bar.

The Basement is a pulsating, throbbing beast of not just hard but extra hard lashings from one of the finest exponents on the scene, Proteus. United in his unending quest to unleash the fiercest music he can find, Proteus has evolved into a totem of the hard dance scene, commanding loyal followers from all over the UK. Relentless, merciless and slightly crazy, all hail Proteus for some more of his

The prolific hard dance producer BK also touches down. Always a great addition to any lineup, he compounds the fury of Room 2, bringing together so much infectious noise all under one roof. Expect to hear some of BK’s own illustrious work alongside some fresh bangers!

Walt Jenssen aka Showtek makes his North-West debut and is one half of the stunning brotherly duo responsible for incredible live-performances, devastating dj-sets, but above all, a bunch of superb productions and massive hits which have led to world-domination in the harder dance scene. Showtek on stage is an experience people will not easily forget and no matter where they play the roof always gets blown off!

The big man Dark By Design also gets to flex his musical muscles and thrash out some of his trademark foot stomping beats which will have all in raptures of aural delight. Local hero Morgan gets the party rocking to round off The Basement and will be making his set especially good as he celebrates being made the new Goodgreef Xtra Hard Resident! Rascal gets the session started!

Egyptian duo Aly and Fila headline The Boutique for their North West debut and will expose their gorgeous, euphoric, uplifting blend of sweeping trance has seen them rise to A-list status alongside the likes of Armin, Blank & Jones, Johan Gielen, Tall Paul and more. At the forefront of the next generation of dance music superstars, they’ve already broken through into the UK, Europe and Asia and are definitely one of the duos to watch for this year. Their debut artist album through Armada is also about to drop and they will be showcasing some of the amazing tunes from it!

Starlet Tylor Leigh shows why she is one of the hottest female talents around and also chosen to mix one half of GG’s first foray into the digital arena alongside Adam Sheridan, Digital Trance, which is released in Spring 2008. She will be featuring some of the material from this project at Sankeys!

Matt Everson will showcase his pumping peak time trance blending blinding beats into the rolling treats of techno, but can adapt to fit around the whole feel of the night. He’s supported by two adroit deck technicians, Pickled Beats’ resident and promoter Christian Shaw will be supplying some techno action and Armin Van B.Vis also stars.

Over in The Bar, is a sumptuous collective of house and electro stars who will be keeping proceedings pumping all night long. Pooling such a talented group together only means thing, trouble, and lots of it, with an all-star collective on call to keep The Bar the best place for some ass-shaking grooves. Kris James, Uberchic, Paul Flintoff, YDB and Paul Calvy b2b Dutton are the team to keep everyone rocking from stars to finish in the bar! This is going to be special!
