After absolutly belting night in september, October see's us welcome down some very special guests. Backdraft profile.myspace.com In October we welcome down the northwests finest filth merchants Backdraft. Originally we decided to get them down to showcase the new album which was due out around this time, but studio recording sessions have over run and the album is pushed back until next year. No matter through because this simply means we get them down playing a whole bunch of exclusives that are sure to be rocking dance floors across the nation throughout 2009. Remember where you heard it first! Around since the turn of the century under the Backdraft alias, this critically acclaimed duo continue to drop track after track of top notch dance floor destroyers across labels such as "Botchit & Scarper", "Passenger" & "Bassrock". Pushing their own blend of grimey, dirty, bass line driven filth the's no other artists we can think of who cross so many boundaries. Every breaks related dj be they tech, tear up, dubstep in the northwest at least seems to have at least one Backdraft tune primed as a secret weapon. To me a non-native Manc they have always summed up the breaks scene round here. True innovators and cited by such luminaries as Aquasky as being one of the most exciting acts in the scene to watch. Check their myspace & watch out for the album (Titled "We Know Where You Live") when it drops in the new year. Antics so legendary both on and off stage we actually fear for the state of manchester when these boys hit town. Dropping exclusive tunes and remixes each and everytime we expect to see them bring the house down and we feel they are going to be the perfect balance to the darker sounds before them. This nights simply going to rock. The resident's Gooseman, Kaine & Spod are all in attendance and we'll even have the bottom end reinforced once more after a few glitches last month.
