It's becoming a tradition for Nick Warren to start his DJing year at Tangled. Y'see, Nick likes to take January off, to go fishing, to chill out, to readjust, and when he's fully recharged, it seems the man likes nothing better than to arrive at our door with a box of tunes and some seriously recharged batteries!

But there's more than Nick on offer to kickstart our first allnighter of the year.

Aquasky are bona fide breakbeat heavyweights, and it's unbelievable to think that they are playing Tangled for the first time. From their drum and bass years through to their practically inventing bass-heavy breakbeat, the boys have always been one step ahead. Now they're pushing a new tech-funk sound which ties in beautifully with the way Tangled Breaks has been going.

The final piece of the jigsaw are Rogue Element. Their debut album has blown away the electronic music scene, drawing instant comparisons to the likes of the Chemical Brothers, and this is their deut Tangled Breaks appearance.

With full DJ support from new Pointon, Morse and Thorpe, this will be another one to be remembered for a long time.

Members are guaranteed admission for themselves plus a guest until 11pm - just show your card on the door. Otherwise, tickets can be bought from Ticketline online or by phone on 0161 832 1111. You can also call for guaranteed admission from the Tangled office on 0161 408 1508. Admission is £15/£12.
