We understand how extremely tough it is to get a set unless you know the club promoter and he's already got mates of his own. You could set your own night up with tons of expense, good fortune and effort required but with no guarantee of success and so you carry on doing what you love doing, praying for that 1 time lucky break.

Here's the break....
You Enter our 'Search for a Star DJ' competition. You register your details, you play against the other DJ's on the night and the crowd get to vote YOU the WINNER. You progress through the rounds and impress the crowd until you get youself into the FINALS!. You Enter the FINALS, WIN THE COMPETITION with a smile on your face and then....

A BIG, BIG THANKS to all the local press involved in supporting this 'Search for a Star DJ' competition 2007 project!

3 Judges - 5 Djs & A Quality loving & supportive Crowd hosted a FULL-ON night OF FRIDAY NIGHT TALENT!!! From 7pm until 3am it was non-stop music - dance action as we saw 5 Talented DJs grace the decks, woo the crowd, play their tunes & work their magic !! ...there were no egos, no attitude or negativity - just tons of RAW Talent

The competition was both fierce & extremely fun-loving as each DJ delivered something special to the crowd and when not playing Everbody supported and cheered on the other DJs making the atsmosphere Electric !!

THE RESULTS !!!
5th Place - Score of 76 Ivan Lucas (Dance)
4th Place - Score of 78 - DJ Blitz (Classic)
3rd Place - Score of 82 - Luke Marriott (Drum & Bass)
2nd Place - Score of 84 - DJ John McGregory (Jackin House)
1st Place Winner !!! DJ Thomas Hughes (House) - Score of 86
What really struck out with the judges was Toms style of House, it had a great crowd reaction with energetic basslines, superb positioning of vocals, nice breaks, bridges & twisting upbeat, funk-melodies. Toms personality shown through as he interacted with both the crowd. Mixing was seamless.....Unique, Energetic, Excellent - we loved it!

What really struck out with the judges was Slims style of Basseline, it had a great crowd reaction and was full of energy. Slims personality shone through as he interacted with both the crowd and the decks! Mixing was seamless and the effects board was made good use of - Excellent - we loved it!
