Music : Drum and Bass and Dubstep
After yet another successful event in April we are going to pick up exactly where we left off last month, keeping it free entry before 10pm and we will once again be showcasing some of the midlands best up and coming artists for your listening pleasure. Firstly we have Mouse & Houghmeister. “Top boys” at Nottingham’s Cult, which is fast becoming one of Nottingham’s most popular events, be sure to expect the very best in all things deep mixed together by these two exceptional DJ’s Secondly we welcome the final third of the Lost Hours residency aka Stylez. If you loved the Lost Hours boys last month then be sure to expect nothing but the same again this month. Wicked tunes, wicked mixing or musical niceness for the raving ear, in the words of P-Fine. Thirdly we have the one they call Kontortion, a resident of Nottingham, you can see his name popping up on Drum & Bass line ups all over the local area and is definitely on to keep an eye on in the very near future. Last but not least holding it all together here there and everywhere in between are the Dirty Freq’s organisers and residents Shorty, Hoax & Jungleman. Shorty will be rolling out his medley of Dubstep, Breaks and Electro. Hoax & Jungleman will be playing their usual blend of Hustle Audio/Deep/Rolling Drum & Bass. Mc’s on the night will be Detonate regular and Old Skool Mansfield legend P-Fine, Hustle Audio & Dirty Freq’s resident Sleepy C and crowd favorite MC UHU. This event will run from 8pm – 2am and will be held at the Town Mill, Bridge Street, Mansfield, NG18 1AN. Entry costs for this event will be FREE ENTRY BEFORE 10PM and £3.50 after 10PM.
