i ended up at escape last night, it was a short visit and I was pretty hammered, but one of the things I noticed was the sheer amount of broken glass on the floor. Not wanting to sound like a pussy, but if you fell over on that, you would of been pretty fucked!!!

have to say ive watched this thread for a while and think its about time i put the boot in lol (joking) like a few others i was a escape regular back in the day, im talking the days when it was buz with only the two floors and the moody lady in the cloak room. the club back in the day was awsum, the likes of charlie sezz, leon vega and carlo in the basement and mr alex b on the top foor, you knew what you was getting, commercial on the top and specific on the bottom (pending on the flyer). went there few weks ago with my fiance and i have to say every floor was the same, chavs and cheese, djs i have never seen before and stone islands all round. the venue its self is lovely and the systems ok but the agro you get isnt worth the fiver on the door. not saying im a sugar regular nor anywere else but feel ver intimidated in there (cant let my hair down as they say) not having a god escape people just adding my views so please dont jump on the band waggon

red taste a bit earthier which can be pleasant at times on the right dish but i agree with the white being versatile, truly a king of potatoes!

perfect roast potatoes: make sure you part boil them first for about 6 minutes, now this is from boiling point not when you first turn the gas on, this stops them being hard in the middle. Then pre-heat a baking tray with olive oil covering the bottom of the tray, when oil is hot place part boiled potatoes with the flatest side down, put in top of oven gas mark six, 190 deg f. Now it takes about an hour until your potatoes will be ready. After about 40 mins take out potatoes and cover them with the meat juices but make sure you save some for the gravy. After about an hour check to make sure edges have caramelised if so remove and serve.
Next week the perfect mash.
