A very very very big thank you to those who attended Sugar last night to help Eli and Heather, owners of, celebrate 4 years in business at this cracking little club. The line up was the best one in the area but as we know Thanet is a notoriously difficult market. With this said the turn out was admireable and because all three rooms were open it is easy for a large crowd to diminish. Lessons to be learnt from that one me thinks.

So for the DJ's

Phill good - warm up for Rasslin, I bloody missed it again fella so so sorry. I heard that your set was DIIIIIIIIIRTY and went down a treat. I wouldn't expect anthing else from a talented young DJ like you. Stick with it Phil coz things are just gonna be stepped up a gear.

Rasslin :-) Nice to see you again mate and pleased to say that the Sugar crowd Luuuuuuurved you. I was glad to hear the praise you gave to the club itself and I have to agree I think it has the potential of being THE club to come to. It has, as you witnessed, some very talented DJ's which we plan to tour around under the Guilty Heaven/Sugar banner. The sets you played were nothing but excellent, as ever. Thanks also for staying around after and we all hope you enjoyed the music that follwed. say thanks to Kate from Mandy and I.

Alex P: Quality set from the Legend that is. A little tame I thought but perhaps that is the way to go when you are unsure of the territory. Nonetheless there were some awsome tunage. At this point in the night it may well have been beneficial to close the other two rooms and move mass of people we did have into one area. This is how it was done for Jules and created that electric Atmosphere. Cheers Alex nice one hope you got to your next gig on time lol

Rasslin: Back on again :-) Twice in one nite man then lol You seemed to enjoy this set more and a lot of the Sugar crowd had finally decided to turn up and the atmosphere was all good.

DJP: Mate finally with no last minute cockups you managed to play an almost faultless set even with a dodgy headphone jack. The true showing of a true professional. Nice set fella dirty but bouncy( that sounds rude). Nice to see you get a whole hearted appreciation from the Sugar crowd. Descerning and fickle is how I have described them before but again the feeback and listening to peeps talking is ALL GOOD geez.

Matt Logic: Final appearence? No chance Logic will be back mark my words. Well executed Mr Logic and a little dirtier than of late which is always pleasing to hear. Nice to see the usual familiar faces come to support his swansong, and if you didnt make it then shame on you. Be seeing you soon then Matty :-)

Robbie Styles: Drunk LOL I was very very drunk :-) And your point is !!! Even drunk the OLD BOY of Sugar continued to please a now bouncing crowd. I have been enormously impressed with Robbies metamorphasis over the past 6 months. It was a change that robbie felt he needed and top marks my friend the change is for the better. Shame you only did half an hour or so in the main room but that small nugget was highly enjoyable.

Fraudster and Jammi: Oi Oi boys well done. Some real quality old school garage to play the night out. Eli missed it as he fell asleep in the Front Lounge hahahahahha. Enjoyable lads very much, even Ian Garner was dancing and he did say I Quote " This is the first time I have danced to Garage" LOL Best of Luck with the Christmas Frisky. You lads deserve a good crowd what with all the hard work you put in.

In the other rooms we also had How Clean Is You House, Dave Doughty, Tom Keyes and AJ. Well done boys. As ever laying down the very best in cutting edge electro as well as some older classics. Well done AJ, and I didnt fall asleep... only kidding fella. HCIYH brand goes from strength to strength.....bloody hoorah.

Jinski and Ian Garner. Followed HCIYH and there was some real full on Hard House and trance tracks coming from the Front Lounge. Not the place you would expect these two but they had a good little crowd in there. Ian ..... Sorry mate .... Didnt know ELI was shutting it at that point and just as you were getting in the flow of it. Would have been nice to hear more from you sincerest apologies.

Mr Biff and Rob Young on percussion: Well played boys. Simon and Rob played there hearts out all night and did a fecking good job. Some tracks were quite filthy and they still managed to plays the bloody bongo's LOL respect.

Finally but not least PAUL"Ive got more years DJ'ing than you lot put together"French. I am never short of praising you my friend. Always Always a crowd pleaser and so bloody versatile. If you ever needed to learn from a man in Sugar this chap has it all ..... Good looks ..... Blonde bird ..... seasoned professional ...... CDJ's :-) .... and a thoroughly nice chap. Big up Frenchie there is much more to come from him yet .

Eli and Heather. All the very best to a wonderful couple who work very hard to keep Sugar alive. Without Sugar a lot of us would have no home. Wishing you every success for the coming year you both deserve the place to be rammed to the rafters every week.

Last word to those who attended. Thank you for your support this year and we look forward to that continuing next year. There are lots of plans for some truly massive nigts in 2007 and of course you know that if you are a regular face you will always be first on the list. Respect and love to you all..... Bring on NYE

Final absolute last word.... Hands together for the Sugar staff who stayed extra late with no moans or gripes. Without you lot last night wouldn't have happened. Give yourselves a hearty pat on the back.

Brilliant night again. Bits and pieces have been coming back to me slowly as i was slipping into a deep and pleasurable state of mashedness around 1am!! Woke up this morning 11ish the first thought i had was that i'd crashed out in the alcove in the club but thankfully i was in my front room. Another excellent Guilty Heaven promotion, Big up yourselves all involved. x

You were quite mashed old bean and you had that heavenly smile on your face in the alcove ready to pass out. Andrea however was still full of beans ... hmmmmmmmm ..... Well done Mrs Frenchie good training for next weeks MOS trip .... Bring it on

well i dont feel i need to post a review as mark has said it all really. i agree with the 3 rooms making it seem a little quiet. was expecting a better turn out but hey what can u do!

thanet is a very difficult area to please some people just cant be taught the difference from a good night out to a SUGAR night out. believe me "at sugar it's SO much SWEETER"!!!!!!!!

i love this club so much, in the time i've been going i have met such a nice crowd of people and havent partied so much. so bring on 2007. well theres next weeks M.O.S. night yet lol.

i'll be moving back down soon so wont have to crash on my lovely friends sofa all the time (thanks dave and hayley, i love u guys!!)
