Weekender Presents Mayhem @ Onyx Rooms, March 16th.
Mayhem is proud to announce a new monthly rotation at the superb Onyx Rooms on Albert Road. We will be hosting the spacious room 2 at the grand opening of Weekender on Sunday March 16th, bringing you the finest trance and techno the only way we know how! Every month after that Mayhem endeavours to supply the discerning clubber with headline DJs that have graced the decks at the greatest clubs in the world. Supporting them will be the finest residents the North-East has to offer.

Weekender is a brand new night from Ten Feet Tall Promotions, the people that brought you Play and Sumo. Their nights are legendary in the North-East for an explosive mix of underground bands and alternative DJs. The opulent surroundings of Onyx Rooms will play host Weekender every Sunday from March. The music policy in the main room will be a mixture of electro and tech house, with room 2 being rotated on a weekly basis. Mayhem hosts room 2 every 2nd Sunday, playing our own style of techno, tech trance and driving trance.

For the first event we bring you a mix of the finest young and up and coming DJs in the area. Remember where you saw them first as they are destined to be rocking clubs all over the country within a few years.

Main resident Alex Hemmings is a versatile young DJ that has developed a reputation for delivering exciting, energy packed sets. Able to also play uplifting Hard Trance, Alex will be showcasing his unique style of driving, uplifting trance, tight mixing and ever growing confidence. Just as happy warming up as he is finishing the night, Alex will be playing a relentless peak-time set that will simply blow you away.

Chris Metcalfe is another DJ with a bright future. His blend of progressive and uplifting trance has so far led him to play at Junior G, Native and at Tall Trees for Goodgreef. Able to adapt his style to suit any time of the night, Chris delivers quality trance mixed with a confidence that matches any of the top DJs.

Dan White plays for us off the back of a phenomenal debut set at Solus. For a man so inexperienced behind the decks, Dan played a Techno/ Tech-Trance set that never let up on energy from start to finish. Leaving the crowd in a frenzy, we knew we had to get him back as soon as possible. This will be the perfect opportunity to see what the man can do. Not to be missed!

Andy Mac is DJ/producer that makes his long awaited debut for us after gaining experience at a number of nights around Middlesbrough, including his own night that ran at Walkabout and a number of events at Pacific bar. A fledgling producer, Andy is gaining more and more confidence in the studio. His productions will surely be played by the top DJs in clubs up and down the land before long.

Thanks very much mate, this set will be a bit different as it will be mainly driving trance. A bit slower but still with bags of energy. We have also confirmed 2 big name DJs for April and May so hopefully it will take off in a big way.

Also ill DL the b2b set from you and will, what I heard on the night was cracking.
