Radio 1 DJ and international superstar, Tim Westwood, is making an exclusive appearance at Buddha Blue, Milton Keynes on Friday 8th August.

Regarded by many as the most recognised urban DJ of the decade, Westwood, aka ‘The Big Dog,’ has confirmed will take over the decks at the RnB venue for a live set.

The multi-award winning rapper has picked up some of the industry’s most prestigious accolades such as the Sony Award for Best Specialist Music Programme in 1990, 1991 and 1994 and he has been voted the Number One Rap DJ by the readers of Hip Hop Connection for the past ten years. In addition, he won the Best Radio Show at the Muzik Magazine Awards 1999. He is also heavily committed to supporting UK talent on the Radio 1 Rap Show and promotes unsigned talent through open mic competitions and showcases.
Westwood is just one in a long line of sensational acts management at the late night RnB venue have booked for their customers to enjoy. Other top performers have recently included Omarion, Lemar, Sisqo and Trevor Nelson – and soon to perform will be the sensational US urban superstar, Chingy.
General manager, Robin Lyle, said: “We very excited to welcome Tim Westwood to Buddha Blue. He is such a highly influential figure in RnB and Hip Hop in Europe, so it’s an honour for him to come to our club. We are also delighted to be offering our customers another huge name as part of our commitment to bring top class entertainment.”
