Milton Keynes sees its biggest ever tech house event as Lot49 arrives at Beatcheck.
The label, which is one of the most respected in the UK (and around the world) is run by Beatcheck favourite Meat Katie, and is notorious for its tech-funk sound - a hybrid of electro, house, techno and breaks.
Three of the label’s biggest artists will be out in force on the night as head honcho Meat Katie is joined by Dylan Rhymes and Kid Blue as well as Beatcheck residents Action Dan and The CandyMan

Meat Katie is the producer and DJ Mark Pember and is a former member of the act ‘Ceasefire’ on Wall of Sound with Jason O’Bryan & Derek Dahlarge. He has held DJ residencies at Sonic Mook experiment (Scala) & Bedrock (Heaven), as well playing regularly at Mass, Fabric and various other UK venues plus having a heavy European schedule including Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium & Germany.

Dylan Rhymes started, as most people did in dance music in the late eighties hit the big time in 1996 when his Naked & Ashamed record appeared in a Smirnoff ad campaign. Since then he has cemented his reputation as one of the leaders of the electro, breakbeat and tech house scenes, through his output on Kingsize Records, Meat Katie’s Whole9Yards and Lot49 labels and his own Blue Black imprint.

Kid Blue has been at the cutting edge of the UK club scene for nearly eight years. He first came to attention as promoter and resident DJ at the legendary Technique night in Leeds and soon gained a residency at Chew The Fat! at The End. He has had guest sets across Europe, the US, Middle East and even as far as Malawi kept him busy in 2007, and in summer 2008 he was resident at We Love… the infamous Sunday parties at Space in Ibiza and now runs the Lot49 night in London with Meat Katie.
