An important day for music in Newbury
Fair play to all the KOTG lads who set this up!

Despite the slightly random cone dancers + folk music, the tunes were absolutely kicking and there was a great vibe from everyone in the Market Place!

Message to the Council:
These events work, there is a LARGE audience that want to hear it (not just the clubbers, families too) and its events like these that are helping reshape the music scene in the area! Make sure that more of these happen!!

I'm hoping Liquid are starting to pay attention because their shit-music-monopoly on nights out in Newbury is starting to slip...

How did the Cuba action go afterwards? I hope it was busy cos I got dragged to Venom and promptly fecked off home due to there only being 80 people in there at midnight!!!!

Yes, we seemed to miss each other somehow!

I saw some Deviant sound system action at the Tap and Spille and then headed to Cuba.

Unfortunately it was very quiet all night and it never really got going, the ladies loos then flooded so we had to shut at 0030.

Phil, many thanks for those kind words. We were all really pleased with ow it went, and bar the enviromental health / police knocking it on the head 30 mins earlier than agreed (some people just can't help but complain !) it went very smoothly.

Your point to the council, EXACTLY why we are doing these types of events. We were first to proove the Park can work, and now we've proved this can work........so where next ??
