In designing the Upstairs Late Lounge around the existing themes established in Sustenance, the overall effect is to lead you smoothly through an entire evening’s entertainment. Following on from your meal you are coaxed into a smooth transition to the venue above, in which you can while away the small hours to a deliciously wide range of entertainment.

The décor provides most of this transition with a colour scheme that mirrors Sustenance’s deep reds and blacks with pastel walls that invoke a spacious and classy atmosphere that is juxtaposed against a friendly and welcoming environment.

Manager Vince has a keen idea of where The Upstairs Late Lounge fits in to Newbury’s nightlife: “We aim to offer people an exciting alternative to the noisy bars and clubs that surround Newbury’s Market Square."
