Right its ten past four, I've just got in so here goes.

I got to Venom at about half nine and the club was pretty dead at this point as you'd probably expect. Kudos goes out to Colin Knox and Gary Stalker. It must be a right pain playing to a pretty empty club. The tunes were banging though and just what I needed to get me in the mood.

After a short while the lovely ladies from Natural High made an appearance in a pink hot pant and white bra/pink fishnet top ensemble which looked great. They immediatley started to strut their stuff on the floor and were pretty relentless all night. They looked shattered at the end of it but it just shows what dedication they put into their act.

Matty Phact, Dash-K and Si Stylus also put on a cracking set and by this time the place was jumping and the dance floor started to fill up pretty rapidly as other peeps started to turn up.

Now I originally went to this event to Lisa Lashes as I've always been a huge fan and seen her several times before but Helen G's set was amazing. Good mixes, good interaction with the crowd and i'm gonna be brave here but for a one hour set I think she is pretty much on a par with Lisa Lashes.

Lisa's set was Ok and some of the tunes were thumping but in my personal opinion I think it wasn't her best performance (that i've seen)and seemed slightly jaded. I don't know why maybe its the fact that she is touring loads at the minute. I did overhear her say that she is in Ireland tomorrow so she is obviously very busy.

I know I will probably get a load of abuse for the last comment but such is life.

Apart from that its just a shame that the night wasn't on for longer finishing at 2am is a bit poor especially for the last Out of Order event for a while but again thats life. I think for Michaels sake it was probably best ended then as he looked a little bit worse for wear.

The only other comment I have to say about the event is that Venom need to sort out a refurbishment in the near future and maybe employ someone to clean the toilets once in a while (minging). The lighting and lazers were great and maybe a little over the top with the dry ice.

Overall a very good night and I had a great time and I'd love to hear everyone elses views on this.

Another spot on review their Prod.

I had read other comments about Helen G from the Random event she played the week before. So was looking forward to hearing her, and i wasn't disappointed! An absolute belter of a set. Lashes set seemed a little flat, at times there were tunes where i thought she was pickin up the pace and going somewhere but then she dropped the pace again.

The night as a whole thou was spot as. Many congrats to the OOO lads, just a shame your not gunna be around for a while longer! :-(

I have to say that Helen pissed all over Lashes. Better tunes by far and better mixing. I thought Lashes was terrible last night. Awful mixing and poor tunes. Unfortunately thats what happened once she got her name. She does not seem to try as hard some times and its annoying cuz she once once my favourite dj!

I have to agree with you there matey. With Lashes last night I felt that she was just going thru the motions and not really paying too much attention to the music or the crowd. For the first 15 minutes or so she was hiding behind the turntables and wasn't really visible. I think she was more interested in her Vodka Ornage more than anything. If you take in comparison to Helen who worked the crowd which reminded me a lot of Lisa Pin-Up who played at Venom recently, (Review here) and seemed to love the crowd reaction when she played a particular track that made the place jump.

Lisa also seemed to be in a rush afterwards to leave again take that in comparison to Lisa Pin-up and you'll see what I mean. Personally I think that Lashes has forgotten about who she is here for and thats us the fans.

I was kinda disappointed with Lisa's performance last night. I know I said it was excellent but after a day at work to reflect on it I think she played some good tunes but in sporadic bursts and with no particular skill that I could see. Helen had the better playlist, used better skills and worked the crowd better. I just hope that Helen goes down the path of Lisa Pin-up more than Lashes or it will be a huge waste and a disappointment.

Helen if you read this thanks for the excellent tunes and don't forget us when you reach the top as I'm sure you will.

No thank you! For some reason I always enjoy seeing attractive women wearing skimpy clothing. Good music a few drinks and good looking women to look at, what else could a single fella ask for?

Actually best not answer that question.

Well i just want to thank the loyal supporters of OOO and thats every single 1 of you because with out you of course we wouldn't have these top nights.

It's been a hard 6 months for us as a team and it's nice now to relax and maybe work more on our own dj careers now, but although we're gone from venom it doesn't mean were gone for good we do have plans in the pipeline and also othere projects running.

So keep up to date with our group and we'll keep you posted on us.

Till next time thankyou newbury,

Well Friday night proved that.

It was so good to see everyone dancing hard and smiling so much during my set - makes me want to dance even harder and play even more bouncy tunes!!

It must be an awesome feeling being in command of the dancefloor like that. Seeing immediate results to the music that you play and then working back off that. You had a fantastic performance and I'm looking forward to seeing another one again.

Any chance of letting us know where you are next?

Fantastic set Helen G (Lady Helen), great tune selection, great energy and if your sets continue at this rate I'm gonna have to start taking a priest out with me to give me my last rites on the dance floor! One complaint: I found it hard to take decent photo's while you made me bounce so hard!

Agree with the comment about the girls from Natural High, they really put on a great show right from the start - you always look stunning. x

Top night from Out of Order, well done lads. :-D
