Chippy, it actually IS in Newcastle, Australia. You thought you saw a decimal point in the price? It's actually £1,250 + booking fee, flights included - bargain ;) The change of venue is part of Dig's bold attempts to explore some other, non-European venues. Down under Dig, or DuD, for short.

My joking aside, can't waitttt for this. It's going to be nuclear :) I'd do unspeakable things to hear again some of his set from last December, especially the first hour ;)

I am, yes, though I've been feeling hideous since Monday morning - must have picked up a chill on the weekend - cough, drowsiness, etc. Don't think it's swine flu - but I'm starting to fear I won't be able to make Bedrock after all :( I was in tip-top condition for it as well, as one needs to be for a marathon. Just hoping I can rally in the next few days!

I'm even more eagerly anticipating this night now! Shindig on a FRIDAY though? That's going to be a touch surreal (though I'm not necessarily saying surreal is a bad quality; I quite like the work of the Belgian painter Rene Magritte, for example. In fact, I'm sure Magritte would love listening to this kind of music if he was around today.)
