Habit is back with a debut from one of the most in-demand producers around, bringing his dark, hypnotic club sound to the Cosmic Ballroom

RADIO SLAVE

Radio Slave is the prolific Matt Edwards AKA Rekid, Quiet Village, Matthew E & Sea Devils. His deft studio touch has made him one of the most in-demand producers working today, who has turned his remixing talents to DJ Hell, Kylie Minogue (where he famously mixed Kylie with New Order's 'Blue Monday'), Carl Craig, Talking Heads, Chicken Lips, Pet Shop Boys and even Kate Bush.

No matter what sounds you profess to be your music of choice, chances are that at some point over the last five years you will have got your rocks off to Matt Edwards.

Fired by the first wave of acid house; Matt gained his musical spurs by partying to dance music that was just that: music you danced to irrespective of tribal factions. This was the raison d'être he acknowledged when he took to the decks. First at London's legendary Milk Bar in 1992, opening Ministry Of Sound and then to parties across the country.

2007 saw Matt continue to go from strength to strength - continuing to release new music at a prolific pace, but unlike others never ever compromising on quality. As Radio Slave he delivers dark, stripped down, hypnotic club music. Matt has firmly established himself as one of the world's finest producers, having the knack of turning everything he touches into a storming dancefloor monster.

The now Berlin based artist is also responsible for Rekids; one of the finest record labels around, which has released work from the likes of Toby Tobias, Audiofly, Luke Solomon and of course, Radio Slave.
