Shearers Sports Bar! Shearer's Sports Bar and Lounge, situated underneath the Gallowgate End stand at St. Sign In James' Park.The 14,000 sq ft club has three distinct areas, ground floor, mezzanine and first floor, has a capacity of 1,200+ and is the biggest in Newcastle! Shearers is a very large club that is located at one end of the Newcastle United St James Park stadium. There are countless widescreen TV's throughout Shearers which are linked up to a live video feed directly from the DJ box allowing you to watch the DJs from any part of the club. Shearers is the largest in town with 3 massive levels. The ground level has a long bar and is decked out in a modern style. There is plenty of standing space and a huge dance floor to accommodate the crowds of On-Core regulars. The middle level is mainly a huge standing or dancing area with some small booths at one end. There are 3 huge screens showing a live feed from the DJ booth at all times. This area also has another long bar. The VIP lounge on the top level has two bars at either end with a mixture of lounge seating and tables & chairs. The decor is prominently black and white with spotlighting to the ceiling. This level overlooks the bars below and there are also ample TV's dotted about.
