The issue of a virtually non-existent set of opportunities for local up & coming dj's in newcastle has inspired the notion of arranging a night that permits local talent to showcase their turntable dexterity... Another issue was extortionate club entry fees, so a credible price on the door will allow that extra couple quid for a few pints...to do something different from other nights and make the event more than worthwhile we've decided that all the money raised on the door will be donated to the marie curie cancer trust, a charity that works wonders in newcastle for cancer research and cancer care... Stereo Sandgate, Quayside 25th April 2008 Doors:7pm-1am Admission: £3 all night All proceeds to be donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care Trust.
