The East German producer and DJ Ronski Speed has created some of the most in demand tracks and remixes of the last few years…

His records ‘E.O.S.’, ‘Iris’, ‘2Day E.P.’, ‘The Space We Are’, ‘Asarja’ together with label mate Mirco De Govia), the 2005 smasher ‘Incognition’ with Stoneface & Terminal and also the Sun Decade singles (‘Follow You’ and the groundbreaking ‘I'm Alone’) were genuine club smashers and were hammered by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten and more.

Starting his musical career in 1997, the DJ Ronski Speed was quickly signed to brand new label Euphonic.

2000: He kicked off with a remix of the now legendary ‘Glass Garden’ by Sonorous which became a massive club hit. The project Barefoot Brains released the Remedy/Poison EP in UK.

2001: From there Ronski and Sonorous co-produced Mirco De Govia including the tracks ‘Epic Monolith’ & ‘Things That Matter’ and also Mirco’s remix work which has included Ralphie B’s ‘Massive’ and Lasgo’s ‘Something’(UK top 10). In Germany the Ronski Speed remix of Kyau vs. Alberts ‘Outside’ entered the german sales charts.

2002: Together with his studio mate Sonorous he wrote and remixed his singles ‘Second Sun’ and ‘Protonic’. They both started the project Sun Decade together alongside singer Devia Lea. The first release was the legendary ‘I'm Alone’, which became a massive club hit.

2003: Ronski delivered a series of quality remixes. Binary Finary’s legendary ‘1998’, Goldenscan’s massive ‘Sunrise’, Aly & Fila’s epic ‘Eye Of Horus’, Miro’s classic ‘By Your Side’ helped him to spread his name all over the world. His first solo single ‘Iris’ was picked up by Paul Van Dyk for his Mixmag Mix-CD in UK. Ronski started his first own radio show on Di.FM.

2004: ‘E.O.S.’ was released on Euphonic and later on ATCR in UK. Ronski remixed Armin Van Buuren’s ‘Burned With Desire’, Tatana’s ‘Always On My Mind’ and Rusch & Murray’s ‘The Promise’ for Anjunabeats. All these mixes helped him to defined his own unique sound. The 2nd Sun Decade single ‘Follow You’ appears.

The compilation ‘Positive Ways 3’ also showcased Ronski’s deck-side abilities.

2005: After ‘Asarja’, ‘2Day’ and ‘Sole Survivor’ with Sebastian Sand the track ‘Incognition’ with Stoneface & Terminal became one of the highly demanded progressive trance tunes in 2005. Ronski now performed in untold clubs all over the world. In March 2005 Ronski Speed played in front of a 200.000 crowd at the Love Parade Mexico where he also mixed and compiled the official Love Parade CD. In November 2005 we saw the wordwide release of his mix-cd ‘Monsterseries Vol. 1’.

2006: The 3rd Sun Decade Single ‘Have It All’ was released. Remixes for Above & Beyond’s ‘Alone Tonight’, Solar Scape’s ‘Alive again’ and Luminary’s ‘Wasting’ saw the light of day. ‘Incognition’ was re-released in UK.

Ronski continued world wide touring and played in China for the first time. Also he headlined his first night at Spundae Los Angeles. The single ‘The Space We Are’ was released with a big remix by John O’Callaghan.

2007: The year starts with Ronski’s remix for the track ‘Hold Me Till The End’ by the DT 8 Project. Furthermore the mash-up of his single ‘E.O.S.’ with the Oceanlab track ‘Satellite’ was released on the first ‘10 Years Euphonic’ vinyl sampler. In March Ronski Speed finished a remix for ATB’s single ‘Renegade’.

Thru the support of Armin van Buuren and Markus Shulz a Mashup of Ronski’s ‘The Space We Are’ vocals and Rex Mundis track ‘Perspective’ becomes very popular – even Carl Cox is playing this mash-up.

The new Ronski Speed with Stoneface & Terminal track ‘Soulseeker’ was released followed by his solo single ‘Love All The Pain Away’. He got one more time the support from Armin van Buuren, Tiesto and Paul van Dyk with this releases!


Right now Ronski is busy with working on his first own artistalbum and on a couple of strong new singles.

RONSKI SPEED reached in his 4th year within the DJ Mag Top 100 poll now #44.
