Make Music ~ Raise Money ~ Save Lives

The weekend of Friday 20th & Saturday 21st October 2006 saw some of South Wales's biggest and best local dj talent descend upon Revolution Bar in Newport.
The objective of the weekend was to raise money for Oxfam, by staging a special music festival that consisted of many musical genres, from hip-hop, to hard trance, & funky house.
Luckily, the rain decided to hold off for the majority of the event, with Revolution proving to be the ideal venue by having everyone outside on the terrace dancing under the stars!
This was the first time that Newport had staged this kind of exclusive event, and the clubbers came out in force to support the special cause.
By early Sunday morning we had raised a grand total of £1224.74 for Oxjam, which will go a long way to help those that need it most.
On behalf of myself, Jase & Nath of Connekted, we personally wish to thank every DJ and every person that attended the event, because without you guys, this event wouldnt have been the success that it was.

wot can i say, wicked event.

nice 1 2 the connekted crew for having me down on saturday, realy enjoyed it and loved playing some electro & funk, a little different 2 my usual style.
was getting a bit drunk towards the end tho, lol.
