Music : House, Hard Trance and Trance

In April, Collision present Tylor Leigh, Greg Downey, Hightower vs Stretch & Simon Biginelli. Following the might of the outstanding Adam Sheirdan and Barry Connell we keep the same flavour and bring you yet more goodgreef favourites who are sure to rip up any dancefloors they play too. The house faithful downstairs will be witness to a special back to back set from Sumo's very own Matt Hightower and Stretch and also local favourite Simon Biginelli.

***NEW ADDITION***
Simon Biginelli will now be playing back to back with Sparky

Tylor Leigh

When you think of big name female DJs Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Lottie, Smokin Jo and Sister Bliss all come to mind! Unbelievably there has been no significant female trance talent on the UK dance scene until now! Supported by the likes of Radio 1s Fergie and with previous gigs at Passion, Goodgreef, Slinky, The Coach, Garlands and Promise, the budding Princess of Bosh is set to become a name on everyones lips after becoming a Mixmag Future hero. With the above in mind, it is plain to see why she is hotly tipped as the next big thing in trance. Tylor made a number of appearances at the series of Eddie Halliwells own Fire it Up events, having previously torn the roof off at Godskitchen, The Gallery and Cork City Hall! Who would have thought that 22 year old Tylor would play peak time at Goodgreefs 5th Birthday in October 05, the club where she first visited back in ' 99. For Tylor its all about the atmosphere, which means building up her sets tune by tune, choosing the right moment for it to hit its peak. Combine this with energetic crowd interaction and you have the recipe for one big party!!

Greg Downey

Greg Downey began DJing over 6 years ago and in this time has established himself firmly among the best young DJs in the UK. Born in Belfast - Ireland, Greg developed a taste for tougher electronic dance music from a young age. He has reflected this in his unique style which combines underground and uplifting trance with elements of techno… The result.. An Explosive sound! Greg's first big break came when he was spotted DJing at an after club in Ibiza in 2000 by the Gatecrasher Ibiza promoter. He was immediately asked to play for them at the legendary Space club. From there things went from strength to strength. Greg won the prestigious DJ competition held by superclub Eden and went on to play for Euphoria and Tonic at Eden, Sundissential, Storm and the massive MTV Medonism Festival. The result was a featured article in Mixmag highlighting Greg as one of the hottest young DJs around. Back in Ireland more success followed with Greg winning Ireland's BBM Magazine DJ Competition. This led onto bookings at some of the biggest clubs there, including The Coach and The Network. Greg then received a full-page feature in The Sunday Life, Ireland's biggest newspaper. Having established a strong following in his home country, Greg made the short overseas trip to England, where he is now based, and started to make himself known on the DJ curcuit playing at superclubs Goodgreef, Slinky, The Gallery, Passion, the Escape and The Coach to name but a few. At only 24 years of age, Greg's many achievements alongside his outstanding technical ability and desire to succeed, will make 2007 a massive year for him.

Hightower & Stretch

Hightower has been resident at the mighty Sumo in Cardiff since October 05 and Stretch since November 06, The popular brand name will be celebrating its 4th birthday this October and as popular as ever was awarded 8th place in the UK for Best Breaks Night at this years
Breakspoll. Their sets have been labeled “a full on assault of dirty broken beats”

Between them they have both played alongside/supported the likes of Dylan Rhymes, D. Ramirez, Madox, Elite Force, Koma & Bones, Meat Katie, Vandal, The Rogue Element, A Skillz, Drumattic Twins, Soul of Man and DJ Yoda. Despite playing at just about everywhere in Cardiff both are from Newport and are very excited about playing in their hometown

Simon Biginelli

Simon is a very sucessful promotor and resident at Journey in Cardiff, which is currently celebrating its 4th Birthday. He plays a wide range of styles and his exceptional knowledge of local dancefloors and huge following means he is set to take the basement by storm
