The memory of the best Hi Oktane yet is still fresh and vibrant, or if you were silly enough to miss out, then you’ll be wondering what on Earth you were playing at. While you may not be feeling like going out again quite yet, and you’re never ever ever EVER drinking again, you know you’re just kidding yourself. Lucky then, that Adam M has been beavering away to prepare yet another sublime line-up of the country’s best DJs and producers to rock My House’s foundations. This time round, he has invited along the winners of the Hard Dance Awards Best Large Club - Storm - for an extra special, camo-themed one off event. Hi Oktane vs Storm will be on Friday May 16th so get it put in your diary now!!!!



Headlining this blow-out will be a very special and rare back-to-back from two Legends of the Hard House world. Each has released a genre-defining body of music on their respective labels. Representing Storm is the one and only Paul Glazby, and representing Hi Oktane, is London Legend Karim. With so many unreleased anthems in their boxes that no-one else has, you can be sure of one of the best sets you’ll ever hear!

Up next we have the Tidy DJs aka Tidy Label Manager Sam Townend, and Deano. They’ve been rocking the biggest clubs up and down the country week in week out to rave reviews recently, playing their unique brand of Hard House - trying to inject a bit of the old fun back in to clubs, with tracks like their great new remix of Kym Ayres’ ‘Take It Easy’. Those of you who saw their late set at the Sundissential Birthday though will also know that they can bang it out with the best of them!

Representing Hi Oktane we have solo sets from resident Marc Johnson, and promoter Adam M. Unless you’ve had your head buried in concrete for the last few years, you’ll know who FlashPoint and Tripoli main man Marc Johnson is. He plays the best Hard House out there. Promoter Adam M is widely regarded as the best up-and-coming DJ in the country, with his seamless mixing and stunning tune selection. These two played a fantastic B2B set at the Easter Hi Oktane, but it will be great to hear a full set from them both!

Fighting the Storm corner are 3 more of their residents. Firstly Promoter Garbo will be showing us how he does it over at the Emporium. Garbo’s talents as a DJ are rarely talked about but he rocks the main room at Storm every month, as well as DJing all over the country and beyond. Long-time resident Daley will also be going B2B with the 2008 resident Scott Fo-Shaw. Daley is a superbly versatile DJ so he will be able to match Scott’s style perfectly.

Warming everyone up will again be Damage & Narkotique – these two played a fantastic warm-up last time round and showed that they thoroughly deserve their spot as Hi Oktane’s warm-up residents. They’ve got awesome tune selection, great mixing and a few tricks thrown in, setting exactly the right tone for the rest of the night and getting people dancing from the off.

The Funk Deluxe Room again hosts some of the best back-room talent that the country has to offer, with Drusif, sean C and Fenty backing up the talents of residents Em Extreme and Dean H. Added to this excellent lineup is a DJ who has been making massive waves all over the dance music world – Jordan Suckley. With his dex’n’fx trickery he has been compared to Eddie Halliwell – and has attracted the attentions of both Godskitchen and Goodgreef!
