bit of a tough one to know where to start with this review do i start with the hightlights talk about the DJ's, the staff...

ill start at the beginning...

i walked into the club early doors, 10pm sharp and the encore room is warming things up nicely with some techy electro house from Danny Roberts and Steve Arnold who seem to be having a great time behind the decks. as the crowd slowly moves in its over to DJ eyeball banging out some excellent tunes while the two upstairs rooms open up and start getting geared up the nights main room DJ, Micky Slim.

i spent much of my time before Micky's set running between rooms and checking out what was offer before settling down for an incredible set from mr Slim, those who missed it seriously missed out what a talented and entertaining guy he is, a DJ that truly looked at home behind the decks and clearly loved where he was. incredibly technical ability, top tunes and i dont think anyone could have walked out of that room unimpressed.

right... one word ENCORE! for the rest of the night there was no where else for me but this room. ive never seen or heard anything less than musical magic from DJ Neil the Pornstar and tonight was no exception. what an awesome set warming up perfectly for things to come.

the Encore room had held its own throught the night, even juring Mickey's set and from 2am things were to get a rather big shake-up.

up steps Dawson to take the crowd to another level. from now on it was all about quality, bouncy, uplifting hard house. ive never heard Dawnson play out before and i was blown away, the energy he had behind the decks was immence and he fully fired up the ever increasing crowd as more and more clubber's wanted to see just what Encore had pulled together for there opening night in clubland.

Pearce M continued where dawson left off and if you were sitting down you were just taking a breather before something special happened. where the hell did this next DJ come from... DJ Tobias? who? when? where? playing his first club set ever he raised the bar immensely. what can only be described as one of the best sets ive heard in a long time, he continued to amaze, entertain and surprise the masses, im not gonna compare this guy to other DJ's im simply gonna say that if you dont check him out your definatly missing out on something really really special.

hats off to Vince for pulling this together in a very short space of time who seemed to be running from room to room all night making sure everything was going as it should while seemly really enjoying himself, well done to the friendly staff and proffesional security team and well done to all the DJ's who played excellent sets from doors open to door close.

ill leave it to you to decide if your gonna check out the next one. but with some very interesting idea's and even more exciting DJ's set to play ill know ill be there.

awesome review there seany was well impressed with the encore room and djs and the effort the guys had put into the promotion .. no's could have been better but its the current downturn on the clubbing scene at the moment !!!

im the main promoter of the whole club and we pride ourselve's in a no attitute policy from doormen and staff they are there to help the clubbers have a good time so hats of to them
micky slim well he is the man and we will have hum back!!!

that was just our 2nd event and its growing nicely next event 15th dec with an exclusive from BODYROX there new album is released in dec and predict they will be in the top 5 by the time of the event !!!

Wow! Wot a great review! Top work Sean! DJ Tobias was pretty bloody amazing to be fair! Got me away from the bar and onto the dancefloor for a start and that's a feat in itself! But the tunes he played were brilliant and his mixing was spot on! And he's pretty easy on the eye too! (",) I had a great night! xXx

Sean, wow, thanks lots for that, really appreciate it. Not bad for a first review!! I have been going out for so long now, taken time for me to get my ass in gear to play out, so massive thanks to Iain and dawson for making it happen. People that know me know I am a party guy with lots of passion for fun music, and it felt great to show that passion to everyone from behind the decks, and project that sense of fun and enthusiasm onto everybody. I will be back soon, and will hopefully be playing more events after that too. I'll keep everybody posted so you can all check me out next time. What a brilliant review and spot on about Dawson and DJ Tobias! After travelling 2 hours to come and see them play, it was much than worth it.

Dawson took to the decks and certainly raised it up a notch playing such great bouncy tunes and got everyone dancing hard. His mixing is so tight and the tunes he put together worked so well.

Then came DJ Tobias and I have to say I was astounded with his mixing. As for as first sets go, it was the best i have ever seen and as for sets in general, it was one of my favourites. He has so much enthusiasm and passion for the tunes he plays and it certainly comes across when he's mixing. DJ Tobias played some of my favourite tunes, like U're Shining and Fly with you, as well as some brilliant tunes I've never heard of. I remember looking around during his set and seeing people dancing so hard with massive smiles on their faces. Well done, my hat goes off to you! Looking forward to your next set! Can i get a copy of your cd please babe?

It was a great night! I felt very proud to be part of the crowd watching DJ Tobias play out for the first time!! I was extremely impressed not only with the tune selection (sooo many new tunes I have not heard!!) but his mixing as well!!! EVERY single mix was spot on - really tight and interesting!!!

Well done Toby, sooo happy for you and know that this is the start of many more gigs to come!!!

What a wicked night. Dawson was on song as always, very high tempo and great tunes. Mr Tobias you were fantastic...WOW what a first set. Amazingly original tunes that were brilliant and so uplifting... a male Lisa Pin Up me thinks!!!! : )
