2006 was a great year for Kernzy & Klamenza seeing them grow from strength to strength playing at some of the biggest events of 2006. Lets hope 2007 will be even bigger for them...

I’m here today to interview the duo leading up to there headlining gig for NU-BREED @ Voltz nightclub, Kettering.

Hey guys.. hope your well, thanks for taking the time to do this interview,

So what are you hoping 2007 will bring you?

Paddy (Kernzy) Hopefully more international work, and getting in the studio lots to try and get some more high profile releases out.

Gav (Klemenza) And generally see the scene getting some of its strength back would be cool.

Are you planning to go over to the party capital, Ibiza this year?

Gav - Yeah we plan on having a long weekend over there, stay at a mates villa, live the dream lol!

Paddy - Yeah and this time im not gonna get alcohol poisoning and turn myself pink!

If you were a contestant on celebrity Big Brother and you were allowed to take in one item each... What would your one item be?

Paddy - Debbie McGee

Gav - Some sort of torture device, probably thumb screws.

Are you looking forward to headlining NU-BREED on February the 10th along side Wid And Ben?

Gav - Yeah man! The last one had a right up for it crowd so heres hoping they come back again.

Paddy - Its always good to play down the Voltz, loads of familiar faces with us being local boys, and not too far to crawl home.

Please give us the lowdown on what productions can we expect from you two this year?

Paddy - We're just about to go in with Paul Maddox again and do a follow up to a track we did in December last year.

Gav - Yeah w'eve also got collaberations lined up with the likes of Tidy's new boy, Colonel, Sam Townend, Ben Stevens and also quite a bit of remix lined up for various labels.

Paddy - And not forgetting the next release on our label Submatic, two collaberations, Ingo and Colin Barratt

Its known that you two have quite a good female following, Have any adoring female fans handed you a garment of underwear while your DJing?

Gav - Well i had some lass throw her knickers at us at Insomniacz while we was on the decks, the only thing was it got tangled up in the tone arm and sent the needle skating across the record!

Paddy - I remember some girl handing some knickers over with a tune request written on the, would of played the track but on further inspection it look like she had them on all week!

What DJ/producer has inspired you the most in your career?

Paddy - Paul Janes, especially while he was banging out the Utidy Dubs stuff

Gav - I'd have to say Paul Glazby, just because i watched him rise to the peak he's at now from his early days and the guy hasnt changed a bit, always consistant and never fails to please his audience.
