So Tim we all hope your well…..tell us about your new album…

My new album is called "Egodeath".It will finally come out next year.It was aimed for this year but we've had some distribution problems and we're now talking to a very well established label to release it.

The sound of the album is a bit more deeper than the last one and not as commercial but still has some great songs on there.The track with Simon from Audio Bullies on vocals is going down very well indeed plus a new track with Sam Obernik called "You Got Tha Touch".

Ego Death ? please explain how you arrived at the name…

The name come about in my quest to make an honest album.
I didn't want to try and make hits , I just wanted to do my thing.
Egodeath felt like a good title, as for a bit while recording the album I was clashing within myself.

The taster track “ Espoos Rose “ you released on Beatport is total class is this typical of the direction of your sound on the new album…?

Yes we did a limited download for 2 weeks on beatport which went really well and made 750 numbered vinyl copies which sold out straight away.
Just the fact that dj's like Sasha,Laurent garnier and James Lavelle played it and really liked the track a lot was really pleasing for me as they wouldn't have played tracks from the last album.

Do you have any exciting collaborations or remixes in the pipeline……or bootlegs for that matter..?

No not at the minute ,I've taken timeout from remixing,i may do some next year.

Are you hoping to tour the new album with a “ live “ show ?

Yes,I really enjoyed doing some around the last one and would like to do the same for this one.

What are your thoughts on D.J technology ? Ableton Live - are you a user ? Or still a Vinyl junkie ?

C.d.'s and vinyl for me.

They have there advantages but I will stick to the cd's and vinyl still.

Your bootlegs are legendary…..Blur, Coldplay and The White Stripes stand out. What do you think about the current resurgence of the Indie / Dance crossover with bands like Hot Chip and endless indie dance remixes on the dancefloor ?

Yes, at the time The White Stripes bootleg I done really blew up and I could for-see this merge of rock and dance music coming.
I like some of the new bands acts doing this vibe although have moved away from it a bit in my sets nowadays.

On a lighter note, what are you hoping Santa will bring you for Christmas …

A new studio,I'm studio-less at the moment as the building I was a tenant in has been sold.

As a North London lad….Arsenal or Spurs ?

The Arsenal,first match was Littlewoods cup final 87 against liverpool.
