CUT LA ROC myspace.com

it's in the UK where he's caused the most damage, the two early EPs in his 'Mad Skills' series stand alongside Fatboy Slim, Midfield General and Bentley Rhythm Ace's finest as the foundations the Skint empire was built on. In 2000 he released a mix album for the Ministry Of Sound's FSUK imprint and set a his first world record for DJ'ing with 8 decks! His sets continued to be revelatory affairs too, Lee either turning on the showmanship by scratching with all manner of limbs or slapping down a wall-to-wall selection of party-stoking anthems. Crowd-thrilling scratch tricks and a unique DJ'ing technique remain Cut La Roc's speciality when he's playing out and his DJ sets combine the best of old and new hip hop. No stranger to the big time, Cut had already appeared on Top Of The Pops as the late Wildchild's DJ on the top ten hit 'Renegade Master'. His critically claimed first album for Skint 'La Roc Rocs' was released in July 2000 featuring the hits 'Freeze', 'Fallen' and 'Makin' It Hot'.

BEAT ASSASSINS myspace.com

What a year it has been for Wooz & Jimmy Mofo aka Beat Assassins. Their jump-up club smash “Keeping It Jiggy” sold records all over the world (as did “Shake Down Vauxhall & Brixton”) while being voted breakbeat tune of the month by Carl Loben in DJ Mag. Beat Assassins’ “Be-Bop Aloola” (also released on Mofo Recordings) hit No 1 in Jay Cunning’s Kiss FM chart (supplied by Know How Records) and went on to be the longest running track to remain in the Top 5 in the chart’s history.

One half of Beat Assassins also is very popular under the name of DJ WOOZ and SIGMA He came out to win the UK DMC Team championships at the age of 19 as one half of the FLAREDYCATS, placing 5th in the world :). He also produces and mix's drum and bass that is supported by the likes of Andy C, Roni Size, DJ Hype, Shy FX, Mampi Swift, DJ Zinc, Scratch Perverts, Adam F, Chase & status, and DJ Craze.

RICHIE BALBOA myspace.com

Co-founder of London based club night Social in 2007 with fellow DJ McQueen and has hosted monthly parties around London welcoming guests including the Utah Saints and Fabric's ALI B and Sick Rick. And if that's not enough he also co manages Diverted Traffic Records, which was set up in 2006. His focus on the artist management and label promotion has lead to two nominations in the best new label category at the International Breakspoll Awards.

CRACKERZ AND JAM myspace.com

“Music for your mental health” CD was doing the business, with DJ magazine picking them for “gotta be big” and IDJ reviewing the mix in their “raw talent” section. Plus the duo have been playing guest sets around the UK supporting DJ’s, Lee Coombs, General Midi, Breakfastaz, Precision Cuts, Soul of Man, Dj Hyper The Autobots and The Beat Monkeys to name a few.
Currently C & J hold residencies for, The Fat Factory, Elev-8 and Twisted Fat Stuff, along with their weekly show on Future Radio 96.9 FM
