Q. just to get us started could you tell us what was your favourite lesson was at school, what you wanted to be when you were a kid and what's the most interesting fact you know?

A. I would have to say Science i used to love setting alight to gas taps and watch ing flames 15 ft long burst out reminded me of back to the future when the delorian used to go speeding of to the future ‘by the way kids don’t try this at home’. I always dreamt of being a fighter pilot. Here’s a good one for you did you know if you chew gum while peeling onions you wont cry!!!

Q. also let's set the scene by telling us a little about yourself... Age, location, favourite food, best kids' program from your youth & favorite random words…

A. 35,Letchworth G.C,Chinese,Tizwaz ‘Phantom Flan Flinger’ was my hero :P

Q.what made you decide to go back into DJing/producing with the release of Chucky and GBH records?

A. After being ripped of by a UK Hardcore label i decided to hang up my bag and leave the music scene behind until a friend gave me a cd to listen to which happened to be ‘Dj Vortex’ which was my first taste of Hard style music, after listening to this new sound my love for music had returned and for that i cant thank Marco enough!. The idea for Chucky came out about when Marco ‘Dj Vortex’ invited me to Rome to make a track with him, the original idea was to remix one of my old Hardcore tracks but unfortunately i could not obtain the MIDI files. On the day of the trip i was sat at the pc thinking of what i could use for the track and bam out of nowhere in my mind appeared the ‘chucky doll. I was like what the hell!!!

Q. What is it you love so much about the hardstyle scene?

A. I think when i first got into the hardstyle scene i found it new and exciting because each track was so different to each other and you can pretty much add any other type of music to it and it will still sound good. Also the Hard style scene in the UK is still very much up and coming and yet to flourish so to be a part of the development of this is something i am very proud of.

Q. what do you keep in your handbag?!?

A. A blow up wigwam

Q. where did you 1st dj?

A. My first ever Dj experience was in Ipswich ‘Come on the tractor boyz’ lol
Was at a Hardcore party called ‘Oblivion’ hahahaha

I played after Dj Dougal and was completely cacking my pants!!!

Q. How did you learn how to mix?

A. I was given my 1st dex by an ex radio dj they were antique had no pitch control and a 78 option not the best way to learn im sure you will agree!!!

Q. Do you play under any other names?

A. I have many aliases as a producer Rushtex,S.O.S,Mr Rush,CyberRush

Q.Vinyl or CD? What's your preference?

A. I will always be a Vinyl Lover but CD’s are a saviour as i get sent so many tracks for the label, Its easy for me to test potential releases by playing CD’s rather than getting a dub plate cut!

Q. how do you feel the hardstyle scene is moving forward

A. I think the hardstyle scene is moving along quite nicely we have our own unique sound here in the UK and that helps us stand out from the rest of the world. I feel that Hardstyle in general has become way to cheesy with alot of it sounding like slowed down happy hardcore especially the Dutch stuff.

That is one thing i can safely say about the stuff we release its fresh exciting and unique i have always followed the slogan ‘GBH we aim to innovate’

A. Bags of Pink Cookies being crushed by buildings

Q. where in england is the best hardstyle scene in your opinion

A. To be honest if we are talking of England in general i think theres a right buzz about our music everywhere but if we were to talk about the UK then i would have to say Wales they certainly know how to party :P

Q. what up and coming dj's have u noticed that deserve some coverage?

A. I wouldn’t like to name anyone as i will probably get slagged off if i forget to mention anyone i should have. But i will say a big thankyou to Core magazine for giving our scene some much needed exposure in there magazine.

Q. Who would you like to play alongside if you had the choices of any DJ's in the world!!?

A. Only 1 Dj comes to mind and that is Mark EG i think it would be the craziest set ever as we have a very similar full on style and both know how to entertain!

Q. Who are and where your influences?

A. Carl Cox,Slipmatt

Q. if you could play at any event where would you want to play and why?

A. I would have to say Qlimax i have been for the last 5 years and it is the most amazing experience ever not only as a party but as a show as well. Each year just gets better and better. Having heard my Chucky track being played there in 2005 by the alpha twins, That was the most amazing moment of my career so far seeing 35000 ravers going nuts to it!

Q. where do you currently hold residencys and what do you like about the events?

A. Oblivion – Heard so many great things about this night and cant wait to play there at my debut on the 8th November

Influence – Run by Stevie J & Boyzee (Two of the nicest guys you are ever likely to meet)

The Harder Styles – Havent played for them yet 17th October is my debut there

Dimensions – Run by Dj Malfunction up there in bonny Scotland the atmosphere is electric everytime ive played for there.

Q. Of all the tracks you’ve produced down the years, is there one that you look back on now and are not particularly pleased with… or are just sick of hearing?

A. I can honestly say that i have been 100% happy with everything i have produced and released if its not perfect its not good enough thats what i say!

Q. Which is you fav track you have produced?

A. I would have to say S.O.S – Prepare because its so different to any other hardstyle out there its the beginning of a new breed of sound ‘Urban Hardstyle’ you heard it here first.

A. Mark EG cause hes so unpredictable and wild!,

Marco Vortex cause hes the godfather of hardstyle!,

Sons Of Satan cause they would bring chaos to the table.

RichE promoter of Oblivion – Cause he does a perfect Technognome impersonation!

Scooter – Because i want to torture and punish them in unthinkable ways!

Q. Who is the most famous person you've ever met and how, and is there someone you haven't met yet that you would like to?

A. Nigel Mansell the former F1 driver @ alton towers lol
I would love to have met Nostradamus and picked his brains for a few hrs.

Q. This is the plug question, so if you’ve got anything you want to flog or advertise then here’s your chance to tell the Hardstyle massive … plug away and tell us if there’s anything in the world we should be looking out for in 2008/2009!!!

A. We are doing a collab party with our good friend Nutty T on November 21st in The mud Club in Bognor Regis so that shoud be really good.
As far as GBH Records goes we shall be releasing our first Compilation album which shall include Loads of unreleased tracks as well as Exclusive remixes of some of our previous releases this is due out late 2009.

Well i think 2009 is the year of Hardstyle here in the UK we have seen a great number of events popping up everywhere and also we are seeing alot more multigenre partys with a hardstyle room included.

Also in April 2009 we shall be launching our own monthly Hardstyle party in Bedford @ The Angel.
