Scott Attrill, aka Vinylgroover, has established himself the world over as one of the uk’s most highly rated dj’s and producers! Having toured globally with superclub brands such as Godskitchen, Goodgreef, Frantic, Slinky, Gatecrasher & more as well as holding down regular slots all over the UK….The past few years in particular has been a massive success on the production front with his tracks gaining worldwide support from the likes of Marco-v, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, BK, Scot Project, Anne Savage, Yoji, Lisa Lashes, Paul Van Dyk, the Tidy Boys and many more!

Scott has been DJ’ing all over the UK & abroad for over 10 years and has headlined some of the biggest festivals & events in the world. Now a major player on the hard dance scene all over the world, you will find him anywhere from his regular spots at Goodgreef & Tranzaction to headline guest appearances at superclubs such as Air in Birmingham, The Honeyclub in Brighton, The Arches in Glasgow & many more.

Over the last 12 years he has performed and rocked some of the biggest clubs and events in the world…..Headlining and appearing at massive festivals including WEMF, (the world electronic music festival) Canada no less than 5 times, The Tidy Weekender, Godskitchen tours in Australia and America, Universe (uk), the biggest event ever seen in America at Palm Springs (50,000 people) alongside Paul Oakenfold, Underworld and many other top artists. Eden and Es Paradise in Ibiza, the Buzz club in Washington , After hour power in Los Angeles, World dance at Wembley arena (UK) ……His punishing schedule of international dates has also taken him to Japan, Finland, Germany, South Africa, Turkey (various tours of Canada, Australia/ New Zealand , America, Ibiza) and Tywan……..

Compilations:
2008 (May) saw Scott release his debut artist album Bass Junkie which has been a worldwide success.
October 2008 Scott mixed ‘Riot In Ibiza’, after hosting the night at Eden In Ibiza Scott’s label ‘Riot’ (co – owned by BK) released the album, Mixed by Scott & BK
Scott has released a major compilation in the USA & Canada called Hard Energy in 2000, receiving rave reviews it made the official top 30 Album charts in the US for three weeks…
He also mixed the first Nukleuz DJ Nation project which made the National UK top 40 charts receiving rave reviews in Mixmag, M8, DJ & more….
In 2005 he mixed Peaktime volume 6 with BK for release in Australia.

Scott has had major support from all the major magazines over the last decade!! More recently he has been interviewed by the likes of Future Music, Mixmag & M8, as well as excellent reviews of virtually every production & remix he produces ( FHM hailed his “show me a sign” remix as the best dance track of the summer 03), he is firmly established as one of the best dance producers in the world today!!!
Scott’s radio mixes have featured on no less than 40 radio stations across the UK, Scotland, Ireland & Wales including Radio 1, Kiss fm & Galaxy to name a few…
His track have also been included on the worlds biggest compilation albums that include Ministry of Sound’s ‘Annual’ series, The massive Euphoria series (Ministry of Sound) Goodgreef compilations and numerous others around the globe…..
This year has seen tracks on comps from Euphoria, Scot Projects mix album, The Tidy Weekender albums, The Hard Dance Awards Album & more, his artist album ‘Bass Junkie also led to a guest DJ slot & interview on BBC Radio 1.

Tracks:
Over the past 10 years Scott has for many different high profile labels as well as establishing Obsession music as one of the top independent dance labels!
He has to his credit no less than 11 releases on the worlds number 1 dance label Nukleuz, oversaw all the production for Kontakts smash club hit “show me a sign”on Nu-Life recs (which also received the Radio 1 A-list, and is now played daily all over the world) as well as producing the massive remix which was hailed all over clubland and reached number 19 in the UK top 40.
As well as this he has had various releases with Positiva,Sony, Split recs, BMG, London (ffrr), Tidt trax & Ministry along with others….

His first release on Nukleuz “move your body” reached anthem status and was hailed by the likes of BK, Andy Farley & Lisa Pin Up. Everlasting also reached the UK top 60 and was supported on Radio 1 by the likes of Judge Jules & Dave Pearce..
His groundbreaking Kokane project on Nukleuz featured three mixes from Vinylgrover & The Red Hed, hard trance, hard house and a tough funky mix , A massive achievement gaining diverse appeal for his work, the track went on to sell 7000 copies in its first week!!!!
“Midnight Express” was Judge Jules tried & tested track for two weeks and was released by major label BMG / Split records, also receiving more radio airplay from Dave Pearce and Londons Kiss 100……
In 2008 his remix of 28 tracks later was played no less than 7 times on Judge Jules BBC Radio 1 show and was also championed by Paul Van Dyke among others.
He also remixed Yoji anthem ‘Techy Techy’ to massive critical acclaim.
Yoji returned the favour by turning in a great remix of Scott’s track Existence in November 2008.

Traffic Records/Riot! Recordings:
2005 saw the start of Traffic records, the label Scott started with his production partner of 12 years Jim (the red hed), the label quickly established itself as one of the biggest & best dance labels on the planet. More recently Scott took sole control of Traffic & now the label has merged with the mighty Riot! Recordings with BK. The guys now have two of the strongest labels around & have scaled brand new heaights in 2009 with the release of Scott’s Bass Junkie artist album, The Nu Wave album project, Riot! In Ibiza 2008, the very first Music Journal from the labels, Traffic sessions and more, teeing up 2009 in fine style.
