nah definetly not the age thing, when your canning it every weekend you wonder why. I like to remember the night for being good, you know the tunes, the atmosphere the venue the decor etc, when you get home you speak to ya mates about who good all them things where, today you just speak about how wrecked you got, nothing really about the night. This is happening way too much to me at the moment, could easily count on one hand the memorable nights like that I have had this year, its all about the wreckage at mo, the wreckage is fun but it should be the icing on the cake and not the night it self.

I honestly think its true though, im in this for the music, nothing makes me feel better than kicking back to some good tunage in a good venue with good ravers, that should make 100%, it rarely makes 50% the other bits should just tip you over for the best night but it aint.

you cant beat the buzzz when the music playing hits home, think thats why i love DJ'in soo much!!! same with clubbing, we feel the music aswell as hearing it, i know at the moment it seems to be all about re-mixes, hardly any new productions hitting it big which is a shame BUT that could be due to the fact that producers are keying things up for the money factor, i mean does a producer make a complete new tune that no-one knows and run the risk it doesnt sell any copies or do they sit on the fence and do a re-mix that they know will sell copies and more to the point make them money... its happening across soo many genres and this is the same with alot of promoters keeping with the safe DJ's and giving them repeat bookings, the scene is becoming more and more money orientated every year, this is part of the problem in my eye and ears, if ya get where im coming from.....

Toast, tricky conversation as im a punter and your a DJ, I love my classics, cheese if you like to call it that, if you want to light up the dance floor its always a winner. But yes I do know where your coming from though. It is true though Brett isnt it, its like a holiday almost, been abroad or away hundreds of times, all over the UK and all over the world, you never forget the best holidays or countries or even that little village or that view over the mountains, clubbing is the same, just isnt enough memories at the mo, the poorer the event the more fucked you get, the more time you spend on the smoking terrace, it then becomes a pub visit. Pointless on a clubbing perspective, great to catch up with your mates but like so many people are doing today you can do that for free at home.
