RADI8 PRESENTS ALTITUDE

This article is about Radi8 presents Altitude @ Mustard Lounge / Imagine WineBar in Norwich (UK), Fri 24 Aug 2007

Friday 24th August sees Radi8 return to the Mustard Lounge. Two rooms of music with the likes of Chris Salt, Dan Stone plus many more, playing the very best electro, progressive house, trance & techno edged sounds east anglia has to offer.

Since 2003 Chris has performed in all corners of the globe, headlining events in 9 different countries. He currently upholds a residency at one of London’s most unique & exciting promotions Electronic Sessions and has played alongside the artists such as Andy Moor, Future Shock, Phil Kieran, David West, Slacker and Jody Wisternoff (way out west). Chris’s unique style of progressive house & electro is set to storm the main room at Radi8.

Radi8 is very proud to see Chris Salt behind the decks at mustard. Chris is best known for his acclaimed releases ‘dub sonar’ & ‘atmospheric Graffiti’ on the legendary ‘Silver Planet’ label. His productions have gained major support from none other than Sasha, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Sander kleinenberg & Anthony pappa, just to name a few. His mix for the third instalment of silver planet’s ‘Fear’ compilations, following in the footsteps of James Holden and Flash Brothers. The CD was dubbed as the best in the series & highly rated by dance press.

Over the last year Dan has made sensational debuts at Turnmills’s Vaccine and Slide in Liverpool. 2006 also saw the launch of his ‘Melodic Vibes’ radio show on ETN.FM the leading radio station for trance & prog across the world. As always you can expect his sparkling euphoric energy to take you to an elevated state.

We’re also welcoming back Radi8 hero Dan Stone to celebrate the release of his latest production ‘Spinal Chord’ which will be available soon on inspired records. The release also features a remix from Anjunabeats’s Nitrous Oxide. Dan’s productions have gained worldwide recognition with plays from the world’s best and he is currently working in the studio with Godskitchens resident Mark Eteson. Rumour has it that Mark will be giving their collaboration its official first play at Godskitchen, the biggest dance promotion in the world.

Alongside Chris & Dan in the main room you will find Radi8’s chief residents Jumby & Scotty.A. They’ll be bridging the gap between prog & trance in a true Radi8 fashion with hypnotic bass lines and captivating melodic riffs. [Jumby & Scotty.A - LIVE]
Finally to round things off upstairs Ultuous will be making his debut, warming up for Chris Salt. He’ll be kicking things off with his very original style of grooving progressive house interlaced with electro tinged flavours. Im sure we can expect to hear a lot more from this man in the future, he is a remarkable talent.

In the Second room (downstairs) things will head down an alternative route with minimal house & techno. Expect to see Radi8 ressie Burt playing alongside Neil Holmes, Synthetic Tripster and Fahmi from digital soul who‘ll also be making a radi8 debut.

The Event Starts at 8pm, with entry being free untill 10pm. After 10pm Entry will be as little as £4! You wont find value like that anywhere else on a friday night in norwich. Also to top it all off you can have 2 cocktails for £4 before 10pm, so we'll expect so see some very smiley faces by 10.30!

Radi8 continues to provide Norwich's club scene with underground dance music of the very highest quality, expect to see alot more from radi8 @ Mustard! This event will take you to a higher altitude, your weekend isn’t complete without it. See you there.

All beasts, so many more that could be mentioned, that kind of night :) We can't be forgetting Pryda - Genesis though, one of the biggest reactions I've seen a tune get at Radi8, what a tune, dancefloor devastation!!! :)
