This month The Groove Establishment returns for another monthly with 3 DJ debuts to boot...... First up is Rico Novo.Hey Gorgeous Head Honcho,London Superclub Regular and all round nice guy Rico Novo Rico came to London from Portugal at the age of 7, here he grew up in an area rich in Caribbean and African music which Formulated the basis for his love of rhythms and beats alongside his Cultural Latin heritage. From an early age DJ Rico had a love for the originators of the DJ culture, the Hip Hop and Rare Groove, Dub and Soul that pumped out of the local sound systems that later influenced his funky and soulful taste in records which today rock the dance floors. Rico has graced the stage at pretty much all of London's top venues and is a regular face at Pacha,Turnmills,The Cross,SIN and Ministry of Sound as well as playing at many other top venues around London. DJ Rico is a DJ with a difference, his wide selection of music has kept him being a true player in the London Underground dance scene and you will find him spinning at the most exclusive and happening venues. As a promoter for heygorgeous!, Alta Sociadade & Lifted events Rico has specialised in promoting to a fashionable and sexy crowd providing London with some of the best underground events .DJ RICO has now been moving London's dance floors for over 15 years providing him with the experience to move any crowd! Jonny Cash Winner of the recent War of The Dj's Jonny is now set to rock the floor at his first Groove Estblishment Jonny Human aka jonny-cash (unfortunately aka the Humanator), you'll normally find cuttin some shapes in places like Poos, Henrys, Pams and Media. Along with me you will find not to far away, a Marj shaped person attatched usually to my left side. Me and Marj love our fluffy/funky tunes and with a twist of dirty electro will happily get lost for the duration of the evening. 2008 also sees the debut of some superstar DJ'in for me so watch this space....!!! Vish Vish is hs been part of the norwich music scene for s long s i can remember,wether it be spinning for Soulshaker or dancing away at indulge,expect a smooth soulful start to the eveing He is a Dj and music lover from live acoustic grooves to american soul and house music, My favourite event has to be the legendary southport weekender..... :) Massive birthday shout going out to Bryan to who will be celebrating the night away with us.
