Introducing Impact – set to be Norwich's first regular dance music event aimed entirely at raising money for a local charity. For our first event we will have an array some of the best hard dance music available including hard house, psy trance and techno. All proceeds from the night will be donated to the St. Edmund's Society who provide temporary accommodation and services for homeless young men in Norwich and Norfolk.

We would like to thank all the people involved in helping to make this happen – the DJs, the organisers and of course The Bridge House, which is quickly becoming Norwich's most popular venue for local dance music events!

All we ask on the night is that you contribute at least £4 on the door for entry for the entire night! Don't be afraid to be generous to this very worthy cause!

DJs on the night will be:

NuBorn
--------
Headlining our first event is the well established producer NuBorn who will be performing an awesome psy trance live set for us on the night.

Shortly after moving to london to complete a music degree his talents were soon found and acquired in the hard dance scene playing in the original A.L.I.V.E. P.A along side Greg Brookman and dj Hypnosis. Through experiencing and playing at events such as Supernova @ The Brixton Academy, Tidy Weekenders, Timeless & Heat, storm and escape into the park he was inspired to explore the world of dance music production.

Nick now specialises in engineering hard dance, psy trance and drum n bass and has had the experience of producing along side artists such as Micky Fallout, Del Walsh, Tony Duzzit, Dj Kieron Tong, Alex Mac & Zeebra Kid, Zappa, Dj Vicious Vee, Nicky D.

Dave Curtis
--------------
Fast becoming a very big name in hard house, Dave has recently been playing at events all across the country including Hi-Oktane, Twist, Crafty, Coalition and of course his own regular event, Requiem.

Along with his growing DJ portfolio Dave has also built up an array of awesome hard house releases on the likes of Spinball, Oktane, Carbon, Tripoli Trax and of course the mighty Flashpoint label, which he is now partly in charge of!

D10
----
Darren started getting into German Hard Trance after seeing DJ Scot Project at Gatecrasher in 2002. That was the decider for him in what style and market to hit.
Darren considers himself a rare breed when it comes to genre of music, producing and DJing German Hard Trance / Hardstyle. He also produces Trance / UK Hard Trance under his other aliases DJ & Mercurial Virus but concentrates mainly on my D10 and Deton-8 stuff.

Darren has also come up with covers of Binary Harder, Fine Day, Caf? Del Mar, Ready Or Not and remix of Tricky Tricky. There are many more to come. In October 2005 he went on tour in Australia and played at gigs alongside some big names including Tuned at the Tunnel, Black Magic album release at Rise alongside DJ Scot Project, the Tricky Tricky Launch Night at Gas alongside Steve Hill, DJ Nervous as well as playing alongside Australias big names Amber Savage, Nik Fish and Yoshi.

Valex
------
Next up is a local favourite, James Jackson aka Valex, who is fast becoming one of the most talked about names in hard house. Alongside the impressive back catalogue on his own Nitrox and Bezerk bootlegs labels, James has recently produced a whole host of new tracks, working alongside the likes of Dom Sweeten and Dave Owens with releases due on Flashpoint, Killerhurtz and more!

Besides his growing release schedule, James has been playing a hell of a lot of gigs across the UK and Ireland recently, including Requiem, Xstatic and Function1.

Tom Urwin
------------
Now co-manager of Severe Impact, Tom's contribution to the scene is growing rapidly! With signings to the likes of Nosebleed, Toolbox, Spinball and a whole host of digital labels, Tom is quickly becoming a very popular name in the scene. His tracks have been gaining support from the likes of Nik Denton, Tim Stokes, Rodi Style and HiFreak1c.

Alongside his productions, Tom has played at a whole host of events such as Tweak, Concept and Trepidation, with future bookings on the way for the likes of Crank early next year.

Prohibited
------------
Richard (aka Rico \ Prohibited) is an ambitious, dedicated hard house and hard trance DJ with over eight years experience in mixing and over two years in production. He originally started playing trance, but has evolved into his current more inimitable style with cutting edge effects and scratching.

Starting out playing at tent parties and raves, he soon picked up several residencies in clubs in and around Norfolk. Rico mixes with flair, passion and simply for the love of the music. This has led him to get back into playing live recently after a period he spent concentrating on production. Rico has continued to thrive, refine and perfect this aspect as well as co-establishing and running Severe Impact.

Meon
------
Finally we have local hard and acid techno legend Meon aka John Cassidy. John has been playing hard house and techno for years, and is influenced heavily by the likes of DAVE the Drummer, Chris Liberator and Andy Farley.

For this event however, John be showcasing some awesome techno from many sides of the hard spectrum, playing tracks both old and new!
