This month we welcome our friends from Goodgreef who are celebrating their 8th Birthday with this Nationwide Tour – Goodgreef 8..They bring with them two of the Biggest names in Nu-skool UK Hard Dance – Alex Kidd & Kutski…
We also have a VERY special treat in the Hive for the PHunky heads – a collaboration with Funked Up* and a Very special Live PA!!!!

Goodgreef :: have been the breeding ground for some of the biggest names in nu-breed hard dance including Eddie Halliwell, Alex Kidd & Adam Sheridan. Predominately Northern based, amongst other area’s Goodgreef hold big scale parties in Manchester & at Tall Trees in Yarm.
They have also featured at many of the festivals & often link up with Cream & Cream in Ibiza. With plenty of hard work, PR & a big family like team behind them GG have had a meteoric rise throughout their 8 years in Clubland.

Alex Kidd :: A video game character, is a monkey-like boy with big ears in a red jumpsuit and was commonly regarded as Sega's mascot until Sonic the Hedgehog debuted in 1991. Oops, no, that’s the wrong one… I found that on Wikepedia :o)

Alex Kidd :: THE DJ is continuing to take clubland by storm with his unique, dancefloor destroying sets. Alex supports Hard Trance & Hard style sound. His storming sets also incorporate a mash-up of Techno & Hard Dance, creating many surprise elements to his performances. Alex is a true showman behind the decks with his constant trickery of the mixer and wild antics that whip the crowd into frenzy.

After a lot of hard work & hundreds of gigs all over the globe, he was been rewarded, this year, with the HARD DANCE DJ OF THE YEAR at the Official Hard Dance Awards. His rapport with the crowd and his party antics afterwards has made him into UK Hard Dance’s Number One!

Kutski :: From carving his early niche in the the world of hardcore Kutski turned his attentions to the hard house scene & made such a dynamic impact bringing the harder edged sound back into the limelight

Radio 1, world respected & the nations premier music station,
with audiences in their millions, saw the potential shown by this Chester DJ
and gave him the biggest career opportunity - his own residency - The groundbreaking @in New Music we Trust' residents show. He now has his own show taking over from Eddie Halliwells slot on a Thursday night/ Friday morning. Testament to the impact Kutski made he even filled in to host a Dave Pearce's Dance anthems show & was given the opportunity to showcase his ability to combine underground beats on a commercial stage.

On a performance level his natural exuberance & awe-inspiring turntabilism rank him
up there amongst the greats. Like Alex, Kutski has been very hard working in the Hard Dance scene and has played at all of the biggest club nights & festivals.. He has played a key part in the last few years of Pams House as he

PHunky :: Last month’s Phunky party in the Hive was particularly satisfying with packed bar & dancefloor all night long for Jon Ulysses & the homecoming return of Jay Funk!
This month, we are joined by our friends from Funked Up*. After getting their first break at PoNaNa’s in a PHunky backroom many moons ago Funked Up* & Mr Natralist have since gone on to be one of the most successful Funky House nights in the City with their 4th Friday of the month monthly at Po Na Na’s.

Our headline act comes in the shape of an awesome Live PA…. the talented & very glamorous SAM OBERNIK joins the party singing 2 of the Phattest house tracks…. A true All time Classic & this Summers Ibiza electro/house anthem….. She will be performing Tim Deluxe’s ‘Just Wont Do’ & Dave Spoon’s ‘Baditude’ Live On Stage (check out the video links below for a taste of what to expect)

Our DJ’s for the night include Phunky ressies Jay Funk & Harry Pearce alongside Funked Up* ressies Mr Natralist & Jonny Airhorn…. Its also Jonny Airhorns’ 40th Birthday so come celebrate his milestone birthday & a milestone DJ set for him as he has been supporting the Pams PHunky UEA events now for many many years in front of the decks – now, after years of waiting & asking, its his turn behind them!
