Succeeding roadblock ‘classic’ events at Media, Crasher launches an assault of future sounds, courtesy of Radio 1’s Eddie Halliwell, Mark Norman, Matt Hardwick and Stevie G.

Spinning for the first time at Media, Eddie Halliwell is always a firm favourite for any Crasher line up. Having torn GC1 in Sheffield to pieces on many an occasion, his set in Nottingham is certain to follow the same philosophy. It’s a style that demands attention. Eddie doesn’t simply play records; he picks you up, blows your mind then spits you out the other side with a grin on your face. Warping and cutting his way through sets, Eddie is a master at generating energy and euphoria on the dance-floor. His rise to the top is testament to his special ability to interact with the crowd and drop monstrous tracks combined with unsurpassed turntable wizardry. Never one to hold back, Halliwell always djs like it’s the last party on earth- igniting the crowd and captivating his audience. Now performing regularly on the global circuit, the former Gatecrasher resident has his own show on Radio 1 and continues his ascent up the world dj rankings. Bringing his individual blend of skill and enthusiasm to Media, Eddie Halliwell is certain to rock his new surroundings to their foundation.

Also headlining is the Dutch production duo, Mark Norman. Having been signed to Tiesto’s Black Hole Recordings for several years, they are responsible for some of the biggest tracks and remixes to hit club-land. With Norman Lenden taking dj duties, Mark de Jong’s talents lie mainly in the studio. Their tech trance productions have been hammered by all the top djs across the globe, from PVD to Tiesto and Armin to Ferry Corsten. Over the last few years Norman Lenden has been increasing their dj profile with gigs at some of the world’s largest events. A debut that has been long overdue, Crasher welcomes Mark Norman with an air of anticipation.

The night wouldn’t be right without the dj services of Mr Matt Hardwick. Having governed the Gatecrasher decks in Sheffield for over a decade, he became an essential part of the club’s rise to global supremacy. Leaving his residency at the end of 2003, Matt has been headlining events and clubs across the world, whilst still making guest appearances for Crasher. Consistently ripping the lid off any club he performs at, its sure to go off big time, when Matt steps up to the Media dj booth.

Support comes in the form of Crasher resident Stevie G. With regular appearances at the ‘Crasher Classics’ events and successful warm up slots for some of the world’s biggest djs, Stevie G continues to raise his profile.

With this stellar line up, high quality production and the opulent new surroundings of Media, the night looks set for a party of the highest order. Make your bank holiday one to remember by spending it at the ultimate clubbing experience, Gatecrasher.

no where near a patch on gods or the original crasher... its more trendy than anything, i was turned away once before and they even tried to turn me n my m8s away when Sanchez was there but after a good 10 minz of pleading our case that 'the club will go downhill if they dont let genuine music lovers in' we were finally in there... having sed that, classic layout, quite big aswell and very funky... like it there a lot, just dont like the fact its a lottery wether u get in or not
