Well, what an absolutely fantastic night. This was my first ever rave and boy was it an eye opener for me. I arrived a bit late due to work and the atmosphere was already banging when I walked in. Once in the main arena, I can remember thinking to myself, "WOW, this is a venue and a half." I absolutely loved the atmosphere bouncing off all the walls, ceiling, lights, speakers and most of all the ravers, which I have now become one of. To me it felt like one big happy family having a time of our lives. Having listened to hardcore before, I knew what to expect, but actually being there is a completely different feeling and the music just lifts you up to the max. MC Storm and MC Rude were both wicked on the mic and they made me feel apart of a family that I never knew I had. DJ Sharkey, DJ Hixxy, DJ Breeze & Styles, DJ Dougal have got to be my favourite sets whether on the stage or listening to them on my car system. They just make the music feel more than just music. I danced practically all the way through and my legs felt like lead weights when I finally got home but damn was I glad I went. Everyone was all loved up, but unfortunately, you do get the odd one or two who are there for things other than having a good time just raving. I didn't see any fights or punches being thrown, but I have heard about some of them and was a bit disapponted to hear these things happening in such a brilliant venue and atmostphere. I do hope that Uproar will continue to visit this venue. Thanks to all the friends I have made, spoken to, photographed and danced with. I hope to see you all in the future at different venues.
