Rompastomp presents Ben Stevens
Friday May 15th will see us launch our debut event at Snug. Headlining, we have pulled in none other than the Fireball Recordings boss himself, Mr Ben Stevens.
Regarded by many of his peers as a technical genius on the wheels of steel, beatmaster Ben has become one of the most in-demand hard house DJs and producers in Britain. He regularly plays at high-profile events such as Frantic, Polysexual, Creamfields and the Tidy Weekenders, and has had releases on Tidy, Vicious Circle, Toolbox, Tripoli Trax, Flashpoint and his own Fireball imprint to name a few. Ben has enjoyed bookings around the world including places as far flung as Australia, Canada and New Zealand. This acclaimed DJ’s international profile is consistently growing, and was given a great boost when he deservedly scooped the illustrious Mixmag Future Hero gong at the Hard Dance Awards in 2006. Ben has also released many compilations including I Love VC, A Retrospective of Vicious (alongside Paul Glazby), The Tidy Weekender 14, and the latest being Firebox volume one with Nik Denton.
Ben's main room support will come from the best up and coming hard dance DJ's Nottingham has to offer. Downstairs we have Rompastomp's residents play alongside the Vaccinate DJs with the best progressive and tech trance. The Mezzanine room will be a more housier affair showcasing the latest and greatest electro and fidget house. See you on the podiums...
