Phazed Out presents "Visions" 29/01/05
A drop of the hard stuff in Nottingham, and a chance to show the clubbers of Nottingham what Phazed Out is made of. Lets not deny that the hard stuff has moved away from the city, but lets also not deny that there are promoters as determined as ourselves, to try and make the scene evolve into something new for the city, and drive back a following to The Edge, and surrounding areas.

Our Re-launch had fast approached us and everything was in place. Our avid group of followers and DJ’s had driven from as far down as Hampshire, Swindon and Cambridge.

Miss XS and Jamesy were headliners for both rooms, each playing their own sound. In the main we had a chunky funky Techno set from Jon, a Hard Trance set from Benz, a Hardstyle set from Sean and finishing off hard was Miss XS, who I must admit for her debut Hardstyle set, played blindingly. The main room was decked out in pictures, banners and visuals and we had the lovely Zoe strutting her stuff on the podium, and our Phazed Out photographer taking pictures all evening, and Myself acting as Hostess for the night.

The second room that was hosted by our very own Jon Daniels and his “Intrigue” night was a mixture of progressive house, Breaks and Trance. A nice cosy room that was well suited to the music style and the DJ’s well exceeding any expectations that people had of them. “Intrigue” also enlisted the help of Pickle on the bongos to add to their room, of which everybody gave positive feedback for it. You can catch Jon and the “Intrigue” team @ Phazed Out on the 30th April with more impressive line-ups.

The atmosphere was one that Phazed Out has become renowned for, and there wasn’t one person who did not go home feeling happy with the night, comments were made on the club and how it suited our nights, and people felt it had a good vibe. Phazed Out has always been about giving the bedroom DJ a crack at the whip, and our future line-ups show this. If you are as passionate about the Hardstyle scene as we are, then you will have no illusions about what we are trying to achieve, so with our ever growing team and followers both old and new, you can be assured that each month we will be bringing the hard stuff to Notts. And as the saying goes “Out of tiny Acorns mighty Oak Trees grow”.
