MICKEY-MOO BECOMES FIXATION’S NEWEST RESIDENT

Micky-Moo aka Michael Upton born on Boxing Day 1980 started his DJ career by running his own night called ‘Restless’ at Minnesota’s pre-club bar in Coalville for over a year, booking up and coming DJ’s to show off there talents and to give enthusiastic people a chance to play out. During this time he also played at various nights at The Engine, Passion’s pre-club bar in Coalville. Growing in confidence he then ventured further a field and played at Motion in Derby City Centre playing a repertoire of trance and trance classics.

In 2007 he started playing at JFK’s Live and Loud in Hinckley, playing along side DJ’s such as Radio One’s Judge Jules and Guy Ornadel. Following on from the success of this he was lucky enough to play at The Emporium for ‘Next Generation’ hosted by Storm playing along side new Storm Resident Scott Fo Shaw and the mighty Lee Pash.

He recently played again at Emporium for ‘Passion’ along side The King Paul Van Dyke.

Then came the chance to play at The Venue in Long Eaton for nights such as Xstatic, Magnetic, Trance Plant and the almighty ‘Fixation’ playing alongside some of the greatest DJ’s in the country.

For the last few months he has turned his hand to producing and is currently working on his first hard trance track which will hopefully be finished by the summer.
