Simple line-up: now 'til xmas
Monster line-up for Simple between now and the New Year... whatever you do, DontStayIn.

Switch (7th Oct)
A hip hop freak with an ear for beats and causing trouble on vinyl, a man behind numerous shady records and some genius official ones... not to mention A Bit Patchy. His current remixography reads like a who's who of the dance world taking in anyone and everyone from Busta Rhymes, Basement Jaxx, and the Chemical Brothers through to Blaze, Roy Davis Jnr and Armand Van Helden. Words cannot describe how filthy and dirty his House is... you do NOT want to miss this

Rennie Pilgrem (4th Nov)
Inspired by the sounds coming out of Detroit in the late ’80s, Rennie Pilgrem has been pioneer in the breaks scene since the early ’90s rave days and as Rhythm Section has been billed alongside the likes of The Prodigy, Moby, Altern8. Today Pilgrem is most known for his Thursday Club Recordings which is celebrating its 100th release - an incredible feat for any independent label! He continues to DJ all over the world and wow audiences with his dancefloor-friendly funk-infused breaks sets, and now he’s come to Simple in Oxford

Late addition:
X-Press 2 (18th Nov, Oxford Brookes University, co-promotion with Slide)
...first burst onto the international club scene in 1993 with the demented sirens, typewriter-noise percussion and dance floor pyrotechnics of 'Muzik Express'. Fast-forward to 2006 and they've a string of floor-fillers under their belts including Muzikism, Smoke Machine, AC/DC and even chart-topping hits such as Give It and Lazy freaturing David Byrne.

Erol Alkan (2nd Dec - Simple's 7th Birthday)
Music grabbed him by the balls at such an early age but he had to sneak past his Mum to DJ in Leicester Square for a tenner! Fifteen years on, Erol's epic sets are attracting bookings from New York, Barcelona and Rio de Janeiro up to a year in advance and he's remixed the likes of Mylo, Alter Ego and Bloc Party, not to mention made a variety in-demand bootlegs. We've played the waiting game; finally Erol hits Simple as a birthday treat!

Oh and now NYE

Keep it Simple.
