with LEE MORTIMER - Slide & New Ministry of Sound Saturday Sessions Resident

Rich Smith. Andy LeFord.
Hall & Marsh present 'I Can't Dance To That'. Sam Frazier

Come and join us at Slide's mid-summer knees-up, with resident and super-producer LEE MORTIMER at the helm. Lee has been Slide resident for the last 3 years, and has just been announced as the new Ministry of Sound Saturday Sessions resident, his DJ diary has been filling up lately with gigs all over the UK (Mint Club Leeds, Music Box Manchester, London, Glasgow, Bristol, Carlisle, Oxford); Europe (Austria, Holland, Lithuania & Belgium) and more recently the with his debut tour of the USA, playing twice in San Francisco, Chicago and Milwaukee.

His tracks and remixes on Front Room, Leftroom, .dotbleep, Odori, Carioca, Grandpetrol and his own Wearhouse Music label have been charted and played by DJs from all corners of the house scene including Derrick Carter, Annie Mac, James Zabiela, Annie Mac, Claude VonStroke, Nic Fanciulli, Jesse Rose, Craig Richards, Mark Farina and Paul Woolford.

Lee’s biggest tune to date is ‘Crazy’ on .dotbleep and it went down a storm at the Miami WMC getting support at many, many parties especially the Dirty Bird event. Pete Tong caught wind of the buzz and soon dubbed it “One of the largest tracks in Miami” on his Radio 1 show.

Now concentrating on his aforementioned Wearhouse Music label, Lee is steadily releasing his extensive back catalogue of tracks as well as finding new talent in the fidget house game. Never on to rest on his laurels, Lee has been busy in the studio forging new tracks to destroy the dancefloors and has finished remixes for major label Island (Remi Nicole’s ‘Rock N Roll’) and CR2 (DJ Jeroenski’s ‘Back Once Again’).

Joining Lee will be Slide resident Rich Smith, plus Andy LeFord, Hall & Marsh present 'I Can't Dance To That' and Sam Frazier.

See you down the front…
