For Slide’s Christmas party at the Academy this year we have enlisted the DJing talents of none other than FREEFORM 5. Fresh from the massive summer success of the anthemic ‘No More Conversations’, and with the electrotastic ‘Strangest Things’ album a huge success last year, Anu is also a pretty damn cool DJ: we were so blown away by his excellent ‘Misch Masch’ comp, that we simply had to get him down to Slide for the second time to show us what he can do. The mix was the sound of the best house party you’ve never had, spinning together a hot mix of house, disco, dancehall, new wave, electro, techno and Italo into one breathlessly blended mash-up. It’s gonna be the perfect start to a right rollockin’ Christmas period!
